This term’s project is to give a presentation to your class on an aspect of the UK
The most
effective
presentations
will be presented
to other
students towards
the end of term
Students prepare a presentation on one aspect of the UK
Time limit
of 7-10 minutes
per student
Students
can work in
pairs if they wish
GIVING A PRESENTATION

a topic)
WHAT WILL I GET FROM PREPARING
AND GIVING A PRESENTATION?
develop your reading skills (when doing some research on the UK in the LRC or on the internet)

(producing handouts,
fact sheets and
power point
presentations)

(listening to other
students’
presentations)
build your vocabulary (while doing research)
improve your
team work skills
(if working in a pair)
by working as
part of a team,
assigning roles
and responsibilities,

body language / posture,
awareness of audience
learn about aspects of The UK from your classmates

WHAT NOW?
You will spend some time in your Wednesday sessions preparing for your presentation. The presentations in your class will be arranged by your teacher
