Goths love Dark fantasy novels and goth literature. They take reading seriously and take the meaning of the words in the books they read into real consideration, goths do the same with poetry as well. One of the first really well known goth novels is The castle of otranto: a Gothic story by Horace Walpole, it was published in 1764. Another very famous and probably the most well known Gothic novel would be Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, this was her first and only novel and it wsa published in 1847. They also wear bright glow make up and neon fluorescent coloured make up rather than black heavy make up or pale white make up. Cyber goths will also listen to electronic dance music rather than rock or Gothic rock music.
