The school day at secondary schools is normally longer than at primary schools, running from 08:30-15:00 or 09:00-15:00, but as with primary schools times may vary greatly from place to place.

they start at the age of 5 but they start nursery at the age of 3 they finish school at the age of 18

they go to school just like us and they have nursery , primary , secondary and collage

All students are required to study the following subjects up to leaving school: Spanish (language and literature); philosophy & citizenship ( filosofía y ciudadanía); One foreign language; A regional language (such as Catalan or Valenciano ); the history of philosophy ; the history of Spain; modern sciences and physical education.

what time do they start school?
The school day in most primary schools in Spain is from 09:00-12:00 and 15:00-17:00. There is a two-and-a-half to three-hour break in the middle of the day for lunch and a siesta.
in some schools they wear uniform but
in other schools they wear no uniform

spanish schools are a little similar to our schools in a way well they start and leave at different times but they have the same schools as us eg - nursery , primary , secondary and collage/university.
