Information of the Nervous System
is a complex structure of nerves and neurons transmit signals around the body to coordinate actions. It is in effect of our body's electrical wiring. It has two parts which are the CNS and the PNS.
The Comparison Between Homeostasis and the Nervous System

Nervous System and Homeostasis
LG: Students will learn about the nervous system and how homeostasis is maintained in the human body.
LT:SWBAT understand the function of the nervous system and how it is used in the body following along with homeostasis.
EQ:How does the nervous system and homeostasis help maintain the human body together?
This shows that the
is both the brain and the spinal cord.
Facts About the Nervous System
The Process For The PNS
is the part of the nervous system consisting of the
and spinal cord. The
is he body's central command organ. The
allows the brain to communicate with the rest of the human body.
is the part of the nervous system that consists of the nerves outside of the brain and spinal cord. The role for the PNS is to connect the CNS to the organs, limbs and the skin. The nerves in this system extends from the central nervous system to the outermost areas of the body.

is the process by which cells maintain the internal conditions that they need to support life. It is an important characteristic of living things. Keeping a stable internal environment requires constant adjustments as conditions change inside and outside of the cell.
Facts About Homeostasis
How Does Homeostasis Help Maintain The Nervous System
The nervous system maintains homeostasis by controlling and regulating the other parts of the body. A deviation from a normal set point acts as a stimulus to a receptor, which sends nerve impulses to a regulating center in the brain. For example, the deviation was a lowering of body temperature, the effector acts to increase body temperature.

regulates blood temperature and blood pressure
The concept of homeostasis is widely used in psychology to identify what seems to be a general attribute of living organisms.
When the temperature rises above the normal range, corrective reflexes go into action to restore the steady state.
If the body temperature drops, other corrective actions are observed.
When homeostasis is a success, the living organism will live.If it fails, that organism will become ill or death will occur.
The basic function of the nervous system is to send signals from one cell to the other or from one part of the body to the other as well.
There are millions of nerve cells in the human body.
The nervous system can transmit signals at 100 meters per second.
The Body Maintaining Homeostasis
Examples Of Homeostasis
When the temperature outside drops to 30 degrees, your body temperature remains the same, proving your body has the ability to regulate its own temperature.
When an individual is healthy, his or her body temperature retains a temperature of 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. The body can control temperature by making or releasing heat.
is maintained in the body by regulating the
,blood pressure,pH,and glucose concentration. These words are four examples of how our body maintains homeostasis.
