The Adrenal Glands By: Steven William Koperski Jr. Location: On Top of the Kidneys The Adrenal gland is responsible for the production of adrenaline and several other hormones Adrenaline, Cortisone, Aldosterone, Epinephrine, and even sex hormones when overproduction is present Associated Hormones and their Functions Cortisone and Aldosterone are responsible for the balance of fluids and electrolytes or salts in body Problems with The Adrenal glands Tumors like the one showed are a major problem And tumors can cause an overproduce of the hormones including adrenaline Development During development of the Adrenal gland the Medulla and the Cortex come together and form the gland during embryonic stages of life "Your Adrenal Glands."
