Last manned craft to the moon people Cesar Chaves he helped migrant workers in california Muhammad Ali he was a heavyweight boxer but is now retired Jesse Jackson he was a leader in the civil rights movement. he also founded PUSH, which stands for People United to Save Humanity FaSHIONS bellbottoms gogo boots tie dye shirts hippies they smoked weed during free time they listened and played music Vietnam war the US became involved in 1959 NIXON GAVE A SOLUTION CALLED THE VIETNAMISION the last of the troops were out of vietnam by 1972 SADLY, THE SOUTH OF VIETNAM FELL TO THE COMMUNIST NORTH wATERGATE WHILE NIXON WAS RUNNING FOR REELECTION, 5 MEN WERE FOUND BUGGING THE DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITEE AT THE WATERGATE COMPLEX. THEY WERE ARESTED FOR BREAKING AND ENTERING. THE BURGLARS WERE BEING PAID BY AN ILLEGAL SLUSH FUNDCONTROLLED BY THE commitee TO re-elect THE president- a.k.a.-CREEP THE RECESSION AS INVESTIGATIONS GOT DEEPER, CONGRESS DISCUSSED IMPEACHMENT. NIXON DECIDED TO RESIGN. THE RECESSION STARTED WITH THE EMBARGO OF 73, AND THE STOCK MARKET CRASHED WHEN IT DROPPED 45% OF THE VALUE. WERE HUGE. PEOPLE INVENTED THINGS, SOME WERE FAMOUS, A FEW WERE IN BANDS, MANY FOUGHT IN THE WAR, THEY WORE OUTRAGOUS CLOTHING, THEY PARTICIPATED IN EXTREME FADS, AND SOME WERE PRESIDENTS. BUT PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE. JUST FROM DIFFERENT DECADES
