Olivia Guzman The eight steps to the Presidential Elections Step One Step Two Step Three Step Five Step four Step six Declaring or to announce your candiacy Candidates organize their campaigns and raise money Primary and Caucus elections are held National Conventions are held Debates,Campaigning,and raising money Step Seven Presidential Election Year- 1st Tuesday following the 1st Monday of November. Electoral college (December) Step Eight Inauguration Day- January When the candidates declare their candidacy they have to follow these steps.
Informal Steps:
1. Military(Veteran) service
2. Some type of experience in government
3. Good public speaker
4.How old they are
Formal Steps:
1. Must be Naturally born in the U.S
2. Must be at least 35 years of age
3. Must have lived in the U.S for at least 14 years A election within the parties (Democrats, republicans, or third parties). this event happens a year before the real elections. 2009 Thanks For watching
