Leonidas Alexander Chasteen
(AKA Leo)
And so it begins when I found out that I was going to have a baby brother...but then we found out he has hypolastic left heart syndrome (HLHS)... My family was very upset, and we knew we would have complications but that didn't stop us from not loving this gift from God.
So we waited until the day he was born..

Happy Baby
Since Leo has been home for a while he is a very active baby. Things seemed to get better, and better, he is a very happy baby and we are happy that he is happy.
Starting Out Rough
August 5, 2012 is the day my brother was born...once we met him we instantly fell in love with him and we knew he was our lil lion. but there were complications. It was a good but also a tough day...the doctors said he was going to have to have a surgery during the week...

Another One
On February 13 2013 my brother had his 2nd surgery and my family and I were praying for everything to be O.K. with Leo, and Jesus answered our prayers. Thank Jesus. Just in a few months he came back home.
It was hard because he
started to have complica-
tions. More therapies, more
medicine and hard times
but we learned how to deal
with.
Staying Home
My brother has been home for a while now he is doing good but he still has compilations but, he seems to be getting better. I love my brother even though his problem.

Not Over Yet
My brother now is doing much better, he sure has been through a lot. Thank you Jesus for this miracle that you made for this family, everything happens for a reason.
And I love my family.
The rest is still unwritten...
you just have wait to find
out the rest.
