Think of the possibilites . . . Future Entertainment! Emotion -Control Devices What does 2020 have to offer? Wos up in 2025! Digatal scrolls Onwards and upwards A washing Machine that can think for you 3D contact lenses digital tattoos By 2020 we will have digital tattoos painted onto our skin which will connect our bodies to the internet, meaning you will be able to physically feel the action in the latest James Bond movie for example. Experts say criminals could be ''cured'' with the development of emotion control devices by 2020. The devices will be placed in the part of the brain that make these people ''different'' to help them lead more normal lives. By 2020 your washing machine will know what you have loaded, set the time and detergent automatically and even let you know if you have a red sock in the white wash. This means no more unwanted pink clothes! Advances in technology mean that by 2020 the most adventurous technology consumers will have grown tired of 3D specs and will be wearing active contact lenses instead. The lens will be a general purpose display that sits in your eye all day. You will just pop it in your eye in the morning and take it out at the end of the day, allowing you to get entertainment at your fingertips. Holographic Television We'll control devices via microchips implanted in our brains TV,s that know your face In 2025 your TV will not just sense you walked in the room it will identify your face and start playing your favorite programs! Don't be surprised if within 10 years you find yourself discarding your plasma and LCD sets in exchange for a holographic 3-D television that can put Cristiano Ronaldo in your living room or bring you face-to-face with life-sized versions of your gaming heroes. The idea of meshing the raw power of the human mind with electronic stimulus and responsiveness has long existed in both science fiction and — to some degree — in reality, we likely won’t be controlling our devices with a thought in 2020 as Intel has predicted. While it’s currently possible to implant a chip in the brain and even get one to respond- cool or what! Stufff thats messing with your senses In the future there will be more emphasis on building relationships across the senses, with additional focus on behavioral identities and customized delivery of optimized programming, The key to future “sense events” will be experimentation, Tablets like the iPad 2 are great for checking email and browsing the Web, but they still add weight and bulk to your laptop bag. Louis Rosas-Guyon, the president of R-Squared Computing, a consultant group, says technology will advance by 2025 to make the “digital scroll” a reality. This flexible digital display will roll out like a sheet of plastic and, the scrolls would use much less power The idea of a personal digital assistant is already here. Like an advanced version of Siri on the iPhone 4S, this assistant will know your calendar, read your email, and store all of your photos and documents. Most importantly, the assistant will take a holistic view: Knowing where you need to be and why, the assistant will provide the documents you need; with short-term and long-term objectives in mind, the assistant will adjust your calendar accordingly. Best yet, the service—controlled by your voice—will run on every gadget, in your car, and at the office. Digital assistant
High-def videoconferencing is one thing, but Intel is developing new technology for telemedicine where, by 2025, you may not have to go the doctor for a diagnosis. Instead, the doctor will chat with you on a video call and ask questions, check a wound, or even prescribe medicine based on symptoms he or she observes. Interestingly, telemedicine will have several side benefits: lower costs, better accuracy in diagnosis (because doctors will follow a set of procedures developed specifically for the remote sessions), or more frequent check-ins. How do you feel about NEVER having
to go to the doctor again? ...Cos our digital assistants are doing all the work!!!!! The draft of Prospective Design Studio, the latest technology with high fashion meet. In the form factor bracelet embedded pico projector HD, allowing you to create an image on any suitable surface. Switch the next slide by touching the touch surface of the housing. When the projector is not working, the bracelet serves as a clock with Led-display. Progecter bracket By 2030, nanobots will interact with the brain, creating simulated realities indistinguishable from the real world. Enter a Star Trek Holodeck-like room, download a program of your choice, and dive into action. Re-live when you first met your mate, or enjoy a dreamy encounter with a celebrity. Change and end programs with voice command. Any story imagined can become real. Nanobots in your brain Tip This is
just the tip of the iceberg This is a huge mountain we
have climbed
But it makes you think.... Whats next?
