of Cardiovascular System Heart:
A muscular pump
to move the blood
A The veins are responsible for returning blood to the heart rate after the exchange of gases, nutrients and waste lead.
The pressure in the veins is low, so they depend on nearby muscular contractions to move blood throughout the body.
Veins have valves that prevent backflow of blood. The Veins Arteries Capillaries are the points of exchange between blood and the surrounding tissues.
Cross materials within and outside the capillaries, through or between cells covered by capillaries. Capillaries Arteries are strong, elastic vessels adapted for carrying blood away from the heart at relatively high pumping pressure. Arteries divide into progressively thinner tubes and eventually become fine branches called arterioles. Blood in arteries is oxygen-rich, with the exception of the pulmonary artery, which carries blood to the lungs to be oxygenated. The cardiovascular system includes the heart and two networks of blood vessels: pulmonary circulation, which moves deoxygenated blood from the heart to the lungs, and returns oxygenated blood back to the heart ... small ... small The change in
