Connections
The people of the Neolithic had finally started to produce their own food. Therefore, they could start to settle down in agriculture villages. They would plant their crops, and other foods. They would also live and sleep in these permanent villages. This also led to technology.
The jobs of the Neolithic started with specialization and the Division of Labor. This meant that the people of the Neolithic could focus on one thing that they are good at, and trade or barter for the things they are not so good at.
New Stone Age
To farm successfully, people had to develop new technology. They had to find ways to protect their crops, and to measure how many seeds they had, to make sure they had enough for next year's harvest. They also had to find the right time to plant and harvest. They somehow found out how to get their animals to plow their fields. Technology wasn't invented everywhere at the same time. Technology traveled slowly from one area to another, sometimes it even took thousands of years to travel from one continent to another.
The people of the Neolithic were very spiritual and creative. When someone passed away they would bury them with their personal belongs. They had also worshiped the forces of nature.
I think that the Neolithic and now are pretty similar. I think this because if the Neolithic didn't happen our world as we know it would be very different. For example, there might not be phones, or even plants, there might also be very different animals. It is also similar because we still have specialization, and trading. For example, if someone specializes in baking and they open up a bakery, and then they sell a cupcake, and then they get money, and then they can get other foods and when they have enough money they can get a house.

The Neolithic is from 10,000 B.C. to the end of prehistory. Prehistory is the time before written records. Prehistory ended between 4,500 B.C and 2,000 B.C. The Neolithic people would settle in a place that has food, good climate, lakes near by, and other things they needed.
