If you took college courses while in high school, you must submit official transcripts of your college course work.
If you have completed any course work at a school outside of the United States, you must submit an official transcript from that institution. Foreign language documents must be translated into English by the issuing institution, an authorized translator, or a teacher of the language.
Official ACT or SAT scores with writing
Scores must be sent directly from the testing agency (scores from transcripts will not be considered). Ohio State's ACT code is 3312; the SAT code is 1592.
When considering students for admission, scholarships, or Honors/Scholars selection, we will consider the best official composite/combined score from a single test administration.
Applicants who will have been out of high school for two or more years by their term of enrollment are not required to submit scores.
English language requirements
If English is not your native language, you must submit one of the following scores:
550 or higher on the paper-based TOEFL (Test Of English as a Foreign Language)
79 or higher on the Internet-based TOEFL
79 or higher on the MELAB
6.5 or higher on the IELTS
21 or higher on the English section of the ACT
500 or higher on the Critical Reading section of the SAT
