The Devil Wears Prada
How does fashion affects people's lives?
Some people become slaves of fashion, they buy expensive clothes, shoes, they spend a lot of money in hair, perfumes, even in cell phones because they want to be fashionable. Fashion is what makes the world these days. It’s all about the new things that are coming out. Everybody likes to look nice; and if you are the kind of person that fashion means so much to, then you go out and try the new trends that are in the stores.
An artist said:

HOW FASHION AFFECTS OUR LIVES
Influence of fashion
Fashion is the way you dress, your style, and the way you express yourself throughout clothes. It references to anything that is the current trend in look and dress up of a person.
Fashion is a choice and for many people, a way of life, but lately it is more a manipulation and a society’s choice than our own choice. We follow imported models that end with our autonomy and tell us how to dress. We seek equality and fight for difference, but yet, try to fit into society and therefore do what is demanded.
Although some individuals don’t really care about what they wear, it’s the negative comments that we receive from other people that affects us. As a person, fashion is a part of our daily lives whether we like it or not. Fashion plays an important role in our daily lives.
The media has always been a part of what makes a cloth, hat, shoes, or an underwear fashionable. Advertisements are just everywhere. In fact, almost all media companies focus on anything that has something to do with fashion. And if you’re not buying one of these, you’ll be easily branded as someone who isn’t “in”.
We live in a world of fashion dos and dont's, in which lampooning unusual dressing choices is encouraged and rewarded. Entire television shows, websites and magazine columns exist based on these concepts, feeding the collective desire to lump style choices into "good" and "bad." Experts and laypeople alike shake their heads and level judgment, saying, "Ooh, shouldn't have worn that," feeding the artificially constructed sartorial hierarchy, the notion that there is one right way to be stylish.
Also, this judgments can cause ED like anorexia or bulimia.
