Life Map

The rotor system is the part of the helicopter That spins to
generates lift. The rotor design includes a mast, hub, and rotor
The mast is a hollow cylinder made of metal which extends upward from the transmission and is driven by the transmission.
The Hub is at the top of the mast and it provides an attachment point for the rotor blades.
The rotor blades areattached to the hub in a number of different ways.

Operation Continued
The lift is what is achieved by the rotors. When the rotors spin they cut into the air and push it down and for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction which pushes the helicopter up. force is produced by the rotors. By tilting the rotor the helicopter is able to move in different direction.

The tail rotor is very important for keeping the helicopter in control. When the rotor is spinning using an engine, the rotor rotates, but the engine and the helicopter will try to rotate in the opposite direction as the rotor.. The tail rotor is like a propeller is pulls againt the direction the engine wants to turn whick keeps the whole helicopter straight.
My Thoughts
I believe that rotor system is a great. Many people tried many other designs that just didn't get off the ground. The rotor system has saved thousands of live by carrying people out of harms way. I believe that the rotor will continue to excel and grow stronger, faster and more reliable in a pinch.
High Points and Low Points
