Is Planned Obsolescence the only way to consume? What is planned obsolescence ? - in industrial design it is a policy of planning or designing a product with a limited useful life Consequences - A harm to the environment, due to more pollution caused by more resource extraction and by more manufacturing of products. The only way to consume - How are producers using it in their marketing plan ?

- We can't escape it : Alternatives way of consuming - An intelligent consumption

- Another way of thinking

- Fight the consumer society / Growth Society

- The idea of sustainable development - potential benefits for a producer because to obtain continuing use of the product the consumer is under pressure to purchase again - A harm to the environment, due to more waste generation. - An increase in living costs, as products must be bought multiple times. Product Life Cycle Reduction of the product life to increase production Examples *Technical obsolescence
*Systemic obsolescence
*Style obsolescence
*Notification obsolescence - It's becoming a part of our lifestyle

- Integrated in our society Conclusion - We are not just victim

- Infinite growth isn't viable to the long term

- Stop the overconsumption, stop the waste by other ways of life

- Develop other kind of resources Same thing with Zone of Obsolescence changed
