Students graduating in May and September of this year and those who graduated in September and December of last year.

Who is invited?
Uh Oh! Your name will not appear in the program if you filed your intent-to-graduate late with Academic Counseling.

All are free after 12:00 p.m. the day of the ceremony.
(Accessible parking is behind UNH Manchester.)
If you're in a rush to leave after the ceremony, we recommend against parking in Arms Lot. It does get crowded.

Tickets are not required for general seating.
We will have signs and volunteer Ushers directing people.
Guests are not permitted to save seats.
Contact the Registration Office regarding accessibility needs and/or special accommodations for you or your guests.
Guest seating starts 4:00 p.m.
Arrive by 4:30 p.m.
Rooms 354, 356 and 358.
Graduate students in room 350.
There will be signs and Ushers
to direct you.
You’ll be lined up by degree.
AA, AS, BA, BS, MPH, MPA, etc, etc.
You and your friend must be graduating with the same degree (AA, AS, BA, BS, MPH, MBA, etc.).
You'll sit next to the person walking in front of or behind you, unless there is a row change. Ushers will tell you who is starting a new row. (Students are not lined up in alphabetical order.)
Sitting with Friends
Required to walk in the ceremony.
All graduate gowns at UNH are black.
Associate & degree candidates wear the same style gowns.
Masters gowns have bell sleeves and hoods with colors that correspond to academic degree.

Stop by the Registration Office for a golden

Graduating with Honors
Military service members are invited to wear their military formal dress to the ceremony.
are available for pick up in the Registration Office.
Students who were given Leadership cords are invited to wear them to the ceremony.
Dress according to the weather.
Comfortable shoes -- you'll be walking down
flights of stairs.
Dark colors if it rains, the gown dye may bleed onto clothes.
What to Wear
Professional photographers will be taking photos of each student as they accept their diploma on stage. Photos will be available to purchase on a password protected website.
Link and password distributed at Commencement.
We will also have our own photographer taking candid photos. Stop her if you'd like her to take a photo of you and your friends!
Candid photos will be available for students to download for free.
Visit UNH Manchester’s Commencement or Facebook page 1 week after graduation to find a link to the photos,
You will receive a blank cover at the ceremony.
Diplomas are mailed about 8-12 weeks later.
Call the UNH Durham Registration Office if it is delayed.

Guests may also watch the ceremony from inside the auditorium via live simulcast. Seats are limited and are first come, first serve.
Watching from Inside
Ushers will give each student a card with your name and pronunciation. Don't lose it! You'll need to hand this to the Ushers as you approach the stage so the Associate Dean can call your name.
