Transcript of Web Developer

Web Developer Welcome, in this web sit you will learn about Web Developers. Web Developers design, build, edit, and repair websites and web pages. They design the look and feel of a web page and write computer code. It's actually not that difficult to build a website. You can sign up for a blogging account, select a template, and insert your information. For most sites, this costs absolutely nothing, besides your time. However, what if you want to sell something? What if you're not an individual with some time to kill, but an owner of a company? A website is about as necessary as a phone number these days. A quality website that is easy to navigate, has a catchy design, and runs without errors takes a bit more time, but I will still become a Web Developer Overview

Nature of the Work
Advancement Skilled web developers who stay up to date with the latest technology should have good prospects for advancement. This is also true for those who have specialized knowledge and experience. In large organizations, developers may be promoted to lead developer or Director. This position has both design and supervisory responsibilities.
Many web developers are self-employed or work in small, boutique-like agencies. They may also work as part of larger companies, such as marketing and advertising firms.
It is not likely for someone in this career to lose there job because most people have there no business and the make there money by making web sits.
There are no company benefits because you own your own company.

Summary and Rationale
Being a Web developer is a good career but it is hard for me because I like working outdoors, I like to talk alot, and I like to be busy. I always liked outdoors but in the this career you have to work indoors. The next thing I don't like about this career is I don't get to talk alot to others because it is not a group thing. Another thing I don't like about this career is there is alot of competition. I am not interested in being a web developer because the only part of the job that I like is the pay.
