The 10 Commandments
First Commandment
You shall not have strange gods before me.

As teenagers we shall not put material goods before The Lord, our God.
Second Commandment
You shall not take the name of the Lord in vain.

Teenagers can resist temptation, by choosing the right path, and seecking advice from adults.
We have the first commandment, because the church wants not to practice other religions. The church teaches us to beleive in one God, and our one God only
Sins are worshiping other gods or practicing another religion.
The church teaches us The Lord's name is sacred.
Sins associated are cursing, and bad language.
Third Commandment
Remember to keep holy the Lord's day.
As teenagers we are expected to go to mass and praise the Lord.
Fourth Commandments
Sunday is the Lord's Day, a day to praise God by going to mass.
Sins are not going to Church on Sundays, staying at home because there is "no time."
The church teaches us we shall honor the Sabbath by resting, as in the Creation story on the 7th day he rested.
Honor your father and mother.
Fifth Commandment
You shall not kill.

As teenegers we
Sixth Commandment
You shall not commit adultry.
Seventh Commandment
You shall not steal.
Eigth Commandments
You shall not bare false witness against your nieghbor.
Ninth Commandment
You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.

Tenth Commandment
You shall not covet your neighbor's goods.

Teenagers can be grateful for what they have, and not steal from other people. We all get jealous, but it should not lead us to sin.
To covet means to crave or greed for something that you do not have. We sometimes envy others because they have something we do not have.
The church teaches us that we should be happy and grateful with what God has blessed us with and we should love others in a generous way. The sins we can avoid are hatrid, gossiping, and being jelous of others goods.
