May 1, 1718 the Spanish settled Texas, the mission was called San Antonio de Bexar.

The Spanish settled Texas in missions through out Texas.

The Mexicans settled Texas in 1821 the same year that Moses F. Austin died.

The Mexicans settled Texas by joining Texans and Coahuila to make Tejas y Coahuila.
