Somewhere

Over

the

Rainbow

Well, i see
Trees of green and red roses too,
I'll watch them bloom for me and you
And i think to myself,
What a wonderful world.

Well i see,
Skies of blues and, clouds of white,
And the brightness of day, i like the dark
And i think to myself,
What a wonderful world.
Someday i'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melts like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
And the dreams that you dare to..
Oh why, oh why can't i?

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
And the dreams that you've dreamed of
Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly,
And the dreams that you've dreamed of
Dreams really do come true.
The song, called 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' is a song that talks about an imaginary world which is situated 'over the rainbow'. With this what refers to the perfect place where there are no problems, as it says in the phrase: 'Where troubles melts like lemon drops', where all our worries melt 'like drops of lemon', leaving behind everything acid of our life and simply enjoying our dreams, which come true.

On the other hand it also refers to the society in which we live, a society in which we are forced to do what they tell us and we do not have to dream, for that reason the song encourages us to dream about our imaginary world somewhere on the rainbow, where what we dare to dream in our life becomes reality.

But this world is not a world in which we live alone, the song begins to speak of a place where we all live together but in which we all love each other:
The author of the song wrote:

«Over the Rainbow has become part of my life. It symbolizes people's wishes and dreams so well that I'm sure that's why people cry when they hear it. I've sung it hundreds of times and it's still the song I have closest to my heart. "

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people passing by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying i... I love you.

I hear babies cry, i watch them grow
They'll learn much more than really know
And i think to myself
What a wonderful world.

Someday i'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
And the dreams that you dare to
Oh why, oh why can't i?
