In 1769 the first steam powered auto-mobile capable of human transportation was built by Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot.
In 1807, François Isaac de Rivaz designed the first car powered by an internal combustion engine fuelled by hydrogen.
In 1886 the first petrol or gasoline powered auto-mobile, the Benz Patent-Motorwagen was invented by Karl Benz.
Karl Friedrich Benz was born in 1844 in Baden Muehlburg, Germany.
January 29, 1886, was an important date in automobile history. Benz was granted a patent for his gas-fueled automobile and in July, he began selling his automobile to the public.
Has 5 kids, Eugen, Richard, Clara, Ellen, and Thilde Benz
Founded Mercedes-Benz with
wife, Bertha Benz.

They cause pollution.
They cause accidents that result in death.
They are expensive. You have pay for gas, insurance and maintenance.
They are the main reason of decay of urban centers around the world.
