Less homework, more sleep. It has been said the more you play, the more tired you get, so you need to sleep more. The more sleep you get, the more healthy you are.
Sleep disorders and chronic sleep loss can put you at risk for:
High blood pressure
According to some estimates, 90% of people with insomnia -- a sleep disorder characterized by trouble falling and staying asleep.

Newborns (0-2 months) - 12-18 hours
Infants (2-11 months) - 14-15 hours
Toddlers (1-3 years) - 12-14 hours
Preschoolers (3-5 years) - 11-13 hours
School children (5-10 years) - 10-11 hours
Teens (10- 17 years) - 8.5-9.25 hours
Adults (18+) - 7-9 hours
We have collected data by sending out surveys to all Year 7 students in Island School. Majority (about 100 student's which was helpful) replied to it. Using this information, it helped us to make different graphes and show the key points of this information we had.
So have we answered our question, how much sleep does an average Year 7 get! Hope this will help U guyz understand more about sleep!

We get sleepy because you are tired and probably don't sleep the the recommended time. Here are other examples of why people don't sleep that well:
People might do homework to a late hour
People could work overtime
People sleep late and have to wake up early in the morning.
Sleep is important because its good for your health if you don't sleep it will cause heart attack, diseases, and etc. But the more you sleep the more it could help with your studies. Sometimes late sleep causes you less hours of sleep, therefor you will grow tired and unhealthy and also not focus in school work.
