Space
You might know something
about space, but this will help you know more about space.
This is earth our
home and planet
Galaxies
Let's first start with spiral galaxies
theses are spiral and like our galaxy
they have stars in the whirls of the
galaxy.

Then there are barred spiral galaxies.
they are like spiral galaxies except
that they are more tightly wound.

This is a elliptical galaxy and
is different from spirals. One
it's more flat and more oval
shaped, and it doesn't have
spirals.

Last is a irregular galaxy and these ones have no apparent shape unlike the other ones.

Black holes & Supernovas
Black holes are a cause of a
super massive star collapsing
on itself making it so that nothing
escapes.
Supernovas are formed by two ways one by a collapsed star. Other way is by taking neighboring celestial objects getting it's masses until it starts a nuclear reaction.
Solar System
let's first start with Mercury. Mercury is the closest planet to the sun. It has a burning up day and a freezing night. It also has a shorter year than a rotation.
Next is Venus it might not look like much, but that's because of the atmosphere, it's also the hottest planet in the solar system. Like Mercury, Venus's year is shorter than a rotation. Venus is also referred to as Earth's sister because of the size and the layers.

Earth is the planet we live on and the only planet we know to support life. We also have one moon that we landed on. Also the Earth is slowing down 17 milliseconds every one hundred years.

Phobos
Deimos
Mars is called the red planet for its reddish color. On it's surface is the biggest mountain/volcano in the solar system its name is Olympus Mons. Mars rotation is 24 hours and orbit is 2 years. It also has two moons Phobos & Deimos.
Jupiter is the biggest planet in the solar system, and the first of the gas planets. It has a rotation of 10 hours and a revolution of 12 years. Has 67 moons, and a big red spot that is actually a storm that has been going on for at least 350 years; also it has 4 rings.

Europa
Ganymede
Callisto

Saturn is the second biggest planet in the solar system and is known for the it's rings. It doesn't just have a lot of rings it has a lot of moons(62), also has a rotation of 10 hours and a revolution of 29 years. Saturn is also the flattest planet in the solar system.

Enceladus
Iapetus
Mimas

Rhea
Tethys
Titan
Uranus is the seventh planet from the sun, and has a rotation of 17 hours at 98 degrees and is one of the planets that turn a opposite rotation pattern than the earth. It also has a revolution of 84 years, so half the planet is light for 42 years and the other half is dark for 42 years. It does also have 13 rings and 27 moons.
8 main moons
5 main moons

Neptune is the last planet in are solar system, it has a rotation of 18 hours, and a revolution of 165 years! It also has 5 rings and 14 moons.
