Conditional Cash Transfer Program (CCT) is a social assistance to poor families by giving them cash grants to alleviate their immediate needs (Calvo 2011; Lazaro 2013; Reyes, Tabuga, Mina, and Asis 2013).
The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) is the version of conditional cash transfer program here in the Philippines (Reyes, Tabuga, Mina, and Asis 2013).
The program's initial focus is on the conditions that the 4Ps household beneficiaries need to comply in able to sustain the assistance (Department of Social Welfare and Development 2009; Lazaro 2013).
Increased school enrollment and attendance rate of children
Decreased dropout rates
Improvement in the health of children
How the 4Ps household beneficiaries fulfill their roles set by the program’s conditions?
Specifically it answers the following:
What are the roles of family members?
How do they practice their roles under the requirements of the program?
What are the implications of roles of family in relation with 4Ps?
How will the families strengthen their roles in the program?
