William Shakespeare's life
The Sets, Actors, Audience
Actors, at the time, were not well liked
Sets would have an arch that framed the stage like painting.
Costumes and makeup had vibrant colors but, they made them look pale.
The Elizabethan Stage refers to theater of England between 1562 and 1642. This is the style of the plays of William Shakespeare, Christopher Marlowe and Ben Jonson.
The Play: The results of violence
Assassination. The murder of a public figure is an act that can take place in a split second yet change the course of history.
Action of the play Julius Caesar took place in 44 B.C.
The Elizabethan Stage
The theaters were made of wood
James Burbage decided to build the first permanent theater just outside the city of London.
Shakespeare called the Globe "This Wooden O" because it consisted of an open space, perhaps sixty-five feet in diameter.

Caesar, Pompey, "The unconquerable God"
A triumvirate is a group of three men holding power. Julius Caesar, Marcus Licinius Crassus, Guaeus Pompey formed the first Triumvirate.
Caesar and Pompey both wanted to be the person on top and they had to get rid of each other to make sure they were on top.
Caesar stayed in Egypt to execute Ptolemy Auletes.
