Mayan, Aztecs and Inca
Artifacts Mayan Calender This Mayan
calender was made
by the Mayans. It
has dates and things the are supposed to happen on those days. The Mayan calender ends on December 31st 2012. Mayan Social Class This is a picture of the Mayan social order. The man on the left is on the very top and the man on the right is at the bottom. Inca Government This is a picture of an Inca leader. This picture shows that the Inca did have some source of leadership. Inca Religion The Inca believed in gods and goddess. This picture is a picture of the goddess Mama Quilla which means mother of the sea. Aztec Human Sacrifice The Aztec believed in human sacrifice as did a lot of other Mesoamerican tribes, however, the Aztec took the meaning to a whole different level. In 1487 the Aztec reported sacrificing 84,000 prisoners. Aztec Temples The Aztec had many temples that they worshiped in. They were also used to pray in.
