a long term downturn in economic activity in one or more economies
Economic Depression
- overproduction ( farmers were producing far more food than the population was consuming)
-Uneven incomes ( their wages weren't increasing however their income was)
- Weak banking system
- European recession (
Causes of the Great Depression
-Germany's economy was failing
- people were loosing their jobs
- many people were living in poverty
-hitler s
How did this lead to Hitler's rise to power?
- people lost jobs
- people fell into poverty
- weakened the government
