Reduced study load process
Application review - Academic grounds
All applications are reviewed first by your College Student Admin Office.
If your application is on academic grounds, your College will:
approve or deny the application;
drop any courses, if required;
inform you of the outcome; and
send the application to DSA to issue a new eCoE, if required.
Application review - Compassionate and compelling grounds
If your application is on compassionate and compelling grounds, your College will:
indicate if they support the application or not; and
send the application to DSA for review.
Once your application is received by DSA, along with all supporting documentation, DSA will:
approve or deny the application;
drop any courses, if required;
inform you of the decision; and
issue you with a new eCoE if required.

Submit the application
If you need to study less than 24 units in a half of a year you will need to apply for reduced study load. The Application for Reduced Study Load can be found at http://students.anu.edu.au/manage/forms/application-for-reduced-study-load-2014.pdf
This application needs to be submitted directly to your College Student Admin Office.
