Neptune's Rings and Atmosphere
Neptune has faint rings around it. Neptune's three main rings are thin and dark. It has six rings in all Neptune's rings are made up of dust and small rocks.

Neptune has an atmosphere similar to other large planet's atmospheres. Neptune's atmosphere has helium, hydrogen and methane.
Neptune has a 27 times stronger magnetic field than Earth.

Neptune's Core
The surface gravity is 1.21
The average temperature on Neptune is -218 degrees Celsius
Neptune is an outer planet
Neptune is made of gas so no person
could live there.
2,798,000,000 miles (4,503,000,000 km)
Neptune's core is made out of iron, nickel, rock, ice, and other things.
Although Neptune is much larger than Earth, its surface gravity is about the same as the surface gravity on Earth. This is because Neptune is made up of gases and is not solid like Earth. This makes Neptune very light for its size. The surface gravity on Neptune is about 110% of the surface gravity on Earth, so if you weigh 100 pounds on Earth, you would weigh 110 pounds on Neptune (assuming you could find someplace to, well, stand).
