Animal Feed Supplementation
Vitamin D3 is an essential nutrient in feed for animals.

The main role of Vitamin D3 in mammals, birds, and reptiles is to control bone metabolism by regulating calcium absorption.

In poultry as well as cattle it is linked to better bone mineralization which results in better yield in meat processing.

Vitamin D3 supplementation is linked to better egg productivity from poultry resulting in fewer breakages and more eggs per hen.

Vitamin D3 formulations in various nutritional supplement forms are extremely popular worldwide. Vitamin D3 is one of the fastest growing nutrient segment in the US while it has been growing at varying rates in other global markets.

Waste Water Treatment
Conventional treatment of effluent by Activated sludge process (ASP) involves significant amount of energy consumption through surface aerators. Since the normal bacteria present in the waste water plants needs high oxygen to carry out the process of biodegradation, most STP plants are designed with higher aeration capacities. Lake Bioremediation
FBL along with its European counterparts are offering a unique & environment friendly lake cleaning technology which combines diagnosis (involves physio-chemical/ biological analysis and state of the art SONAR studies) and cleaning of lake (using engineering, chemical & biotechnological methodologies). Fermenta Biotech Ltd (FBL), incepted under the auspices of Duphar Interfran Ltd (now known as DIL Ltd.), is the brainchild of late Mr. Vasant Kumar Datla.
