By: Megan Centers Macbeth Timeline Fire burn and cauldron bubble The Queen is no more Macbeth and Banquo are on their way back from winning a battle and the three witches meet them. They tell the men each of their prophecies: Macbeth will become Thane of Cawdor and King, while Banquo's children will become King one day. Macbeth is crowned King after Macduff finds Duncan's dead body. As of right now Macbeth is not suspected of the murder. All hail Macbeth! Macbeth goes to visit the witches again and he see's three apparition each with a different prophecy. The first is an armed head which tells him beware Macduff, the second is a bloody child which tells him that no one born from a woman will ever harm him, and the third is a child crowned with a tree in his hand which tells him that Macbeth will never be defeated until Birnam Wood marches to fight him at Dunsinane Hill. Round about the cauldron go Macduff has fled to England and Macbeth orders all of Macuff's family to be killed. Lady Macduff and her son are killed by Macbeth's murders. The gentlewomen and the doctor watch Lady Macbeth talk in her sleep of Banquo and wash her hand repeaditly. The next day Lady Macbeth dies. The plot thickens King Duncan comes to Macbeth's castle for a victory feast. Lady Macbeth and Macbeth discuss the weird sisters prophecy and she decides King Duncan has to die as soon as possible so that Macbeth can become King. Long live the King? Lady Macbeth gets the chamberlains drunk to the point that they pass out while King Duncan is in a slumber and Macbeth goes in for the kill. He brings the dagger back for Lady Macbeth to hide and she wipes the blood off with her hands to smear all over the servants. The three witches are introduced and decided where and when they will give Macbeth the prophecies. Double double toil and trouble News of Victory Duncan, the King, makes Macbeth Thane of Cawdor and Banquo Thane of Glamis after hearing of their valiant battle victory. Duncan sends a messenger to tell them. One death was not enough Macbeth grows weary of Banquo because he is the only other person who knows of the prophecies besides his wife. He decides Banquo and his son Fleance must die so that Banquo heirs cannot become King. Macbeth recruits three murders to ambush Banquo and his son on their way back to court. Banquo is killed while Fleance escapes. At dinner, Macbeth sees Banquo's ghost sitting in his chair. He asks who has done this and Lady Macbeth tries to cover it up by saying he is not well. Hecate scolds the witches for giving the prophecies without her and informs that it is from her they get their power. She discusses with them how they will make Macbeth think his place as King is secure and that is how they shall destroy him. Macduff convinces Malcome to fight with him against Macbeth. They get their army together. Malcolm and Macduff with their armies enter the forest to over take Macbeth and when Macbeth's is informed of this the battle begins. Macduff fights Macbeth and Macbeth is beheaded. Macduff becomes the new King of Scotland. Three Murders BOO! The Boss No one is safe not even children Prepare for battle The Battle Begins The beast has been slain
