Orion is its own constellation and takes form as a man with a bow and arrow shooting at something . The constellation Canis Major has the following meaning: "greater dog". Included in the 2nd century astronomer Ptolemys 48 constellations. Latin for "greater dog" commonly represented as one of the dogs following Orion the hunter. Contains Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky, known as the "dog star" J K Rowling named one of the characters in the famous book, Harry Potter, after the star Sirius.

Sirius Black is an amimagi. Which means he can transform himself into a dog.

Coincidence? I think not.... Sirius is actually a double star. Its made up of Sirius A and Sirius B. Sirius A is about twice as massive as the sun. Sirius B is the brightest star in the night sky. Dog Form Human Form Thanks for watching!
