Poetry Poetry is the shortest type of literature. It is short, but it also contains a message to the readers. It is different with novels and it has different attraction. There are some symbolic expressions in the poetry to condense the message in a few words. I love the process of guessing to get the meaning of the words in the poem. In addition, there are many rhetoric expressions that attract the readers. There are so many impressive expressions such as describing the beautiful landscape, ardent love, and so on. The theme of poetry can be many things, but I like the love poems most. There was a poem that we learned in the class, and it was like a letter. The poem is only one present in the world for the lover, and it was so romantic. Likewise we can put the things on the poems, that we cannot deliver it orally to the person. Theater and Plays Advertising and Marketing
In the 21st century, the advertising and marketing take an important place. Advertisement attracts the consumer's mind and make them to be persuaded. One impressive ad can change the entire world. Todays well-developed media make it be possible, and the market of advertising is getting bigger and bigger. The propagating power of advertisement is immense in these days. The creative advertising and marketing strategy change people's thinking and it is the competitiveness of the modern world. Being creative is the only way to survive in this rapidly changing commercial society. There are several way to advertise, but my favorite is the commercial film in the TV. Generally, advertisement is made for a commercial purpose, but it reflects the current of the times. There are many directors who make the ads and I love their different styles and creative ideas.
Theater and plays are consisting of scripted dialogue of characters in a purpose of performance. We can see the real feature of the characters on a stage in the plays through our eyes different with the books. It is more realistic and we can feel the emotions of characters. In addition, plays have many equipments to attract the audiences such as monologue, aside, props, costume, etc. Those things help the communication between the audiences and the actors. Audience feels the passion of actor from everywhere in the theater. I love the feeling when we are gripped into the plays. Songs
Character Development Revelation of Culture History Novels are the most fundamental format of literature. It takes a big role in the society because novels can deliver a message to the readers. Even the small behaviors and dialogues between the characters shared and showed in the story can be the clue to find the message of the author. The readers gather small clues to complete the conclusion like a puzzle. I think it is the attractive point of the novels and why it makes people become enthusiastic for a long time. I like the way to present their ideas through the characters and the procedure of resolving the conflicts in the story. Novels Cultures are one of the most important materials in literature. All the literary works in the world have their own specific culture. By the globalization, we can easily come across the literary works based on various cultures. We can learn different ways of living by reading and experiencing it through the books. Interesting differences or somethings in common attract the reader's mind. It is a vehicle connecting the different cultures and making them share the cultures. Speeches have a strong power to appeal the speaker's ideas to the audiences. The contents of the speech can be many things. However,it is generally used for a political purpose especially in an election to persuade the people to the speaker's side. It has a direct purpose and message. One good speech can be a good weapon because it can move many people's mind. I have an experience of making speech for the student council election. Everyone was looking at me to listen what I am saying. Only the speaker speaks to the audiences, but both of them are communicating. The speaker delivers his message and the audiences show their feelings toward it by heckling or clapping their hands. In my opinion, speech is the best way to express one's ideas to the public. It can bind audience's mind and unite all the people into one. Speech Most of the literature works have an author. Authors are writing their works with a special purpose. They write novels, poems, plays and so on to give a message to the readers, depict the history of a group, preserve the traditions,etc. There are many literature works in the world, and most of them have a message that the author want to say. I love to guess the message that the author want to tell to the readers because it is the goal of reading and learning the literature. Different authors make different works because everyone has different experiences and thoughts. Literature reflects these things, so we can enjoy the various charms of literature. Authors
History and literature have a close connection. All the literature works have the background as a setting of the story. We can see pretty big number of novels or poems that have a historical settings on it. The influence of history in literature cannot be negligible. Literature is one of the ways to express the history of the time. History takes a big part in enjoying literature works. Sometimes, it helps reader's understanding the story as a background information or it works as a medium to learn the history of the time. The historical background can be the clues to resolve the conflicts in the story.
A story is proceeding with a conflict between characters. As the story runs toward the climax, also the relationship between the characters are developed or changed. Characters are important sources to find the message of the author. It is the key to get the message because the author used the characters to deliver the message of their works.
I like to analyze the relationships between the characters and expect what is going to come next. I love to observe the change and development of the characters as they goes through the confilct. Senior Literature Folio In my opinion, songs are multipurpose item. It can be a memorable thing for someone, one of the ways to express the emotion, to unite people into one, and so on. Singers are delivering the feelings to the listeners and they share it. I like the feeling to be bound into one by a song. For example, all the people are united together when a global festival is held. Songs cannot be forgotten in the festival. It heightens the atmosphere and makes people enjoy together. I can remember the World Cup in 2002 singing There are many kinds of music, but I like the hip hop criticizing the society. Their brave lyrics and rhythms are attracting me and I love that. Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.
We are the keepers of this legacy. Guided by these principles once more, we can meet those new threats that demand even greater effort - even greater cooperation and understanding between nations. We will begin to responsibly leave Iraq to its people, and forge a hard-earned peace in Afghanistan. With old friends and former foes, we will work tirelessly to lessen the nuclear threat, and roll back the specter of a warming planet. We will not apologize for our way of life, nor will we waver in its defense, and for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken; you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you.
Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Or savages?” .......Jack tries to declare himself the new chief, then storms off when he fails. Ralph begins to doubt his ability as a leader and speaks of resigning. Piggy and Simon urge him not to.  
Gollum: We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false!
Smeagol: No. Not master!
Gollum: Yes, precious, false! They will cheat you, hurt you, LIE.
