History
For nearly seven decades, Ford F-Series trucks were the best selling vehicle in the United States, and still is today. The Ford F-150 pickup truck was an upgraded, more powerful version of the F-100 and was part of the extended cab versions of the F Series, also known as the Super Cab. This half-ton pickup truck became immensely popular in the U.S. shortly after its debut, and by the end of 1975, nearly one-third of all F-Series sales were from the F-150. By 1976, the F-series trucks became the best-selling trucks in America, and they continue to be American icons as of this day.
The Ford Motor Company Inc. was founded in 1903 by Henry Ford and 11 other investors and is now one of the largest automotive companies in the world.
After the establishment of the company, the first vehicle the (Model T) was assembled at the Mack Avenue plant in July of 1903 and cost around $1,000
The Model T became extremely popular for the next 18 years due to its sleek design, the engine size of the V8 and the fact that it could reach up to 40 miles an hour.
More than 15 million cars were made under Ford between 1908 and 1927.
In 1913 to meet overwhelming demands for the automobile Henry ford revolutionized the assembly line that we all know of today.
In January of 1948 Ford came out with a whole new line of vehicles called the F-series
In 1987 ford introduced anti-lock breaks as a standard feature on their trucks

Industry Analysis
Copywriter
The 2015 Ford F-150 offers a new model of truck that has high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloys in its body, a new design and smart standard technology. We want consumers to see that the F-150 can bring excitement, durability and the whole new meaning of built ford tough which is the slogan of Ford trucks in general. We also want our target audience to see that we can still terminate the competition when it comes to having the best series of trucks in United States history.
In today's booming truck industry people are looking for a little bit of everything in their trucks. Some things that we know that they are looking for is

Style
Performance

The F-series trucks has double and at times even tripled digit sales increases every year since the first time they have launch in the marketing media.
Over the years, TV and the media had the highest CPM (Cost Per Mile) and greatest reach and impact on purchase intent. Online advertising provided the highest (ROI) Return On Investment for the Ford F-150 campaign. Part of multiple media campaigns for Ford includes using TV ads, radio/print ads, billboard/transit ads, magazine/newspaper ads, and online advertising as well.

People today don't want to compromise anything these days. Ford doesn't make you choose. Ford gives you all that you want and then some. The 2015 ford F-150 gives to top leading towing and hauling capacity while still having increased fuel Economy (17City/23highway). Ford also options the truck with an aluminum chassis that makes the truck about 700lbs lighter compared to the normal steel frame model.
High gas prices and environmental concerns have severely hurt the SUV and truck market and their sales volume. Mostly based on the automobiles fuel range and the amount of CO2 that it puts in our atmosphere, automakers responded to consumers environmental concerns by offering and expanding the selection of hybrid and crossover-utility vehicles. over the next couple of years automakers will focus on making more fuel efficient models (Possibly Electric) that produces a lot less CO2 emissions and will broaden the truck and SUV sales market.
The type of person that we want to target are people who have an interest in building things and really have a passion for doing so. Whether they do it on the side or they may have a profession in it such as Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC/R, Auto-technician or whatever the trade may be we want this vehicle to be everything that they are looking for and then some.

Lifestyle: Lives on his own, weather in an apartment or a house. We want someone who will use the vehicle to the full extent weather their constantly on the clock working in construction or constantly towing and hauling things.

Attitude: We want a person with a can do attitude. someone that will be proud to own on of these trucks.
The TV campaign is going have a "Continuity" way of running during 6 months; from October to to March. These are months in which people spend more time at home and when audience is more receptive to watch advertising.
Radio ads, on the other hand, are going to be flighting. Due to fact there is not a special season for radios ads, which are mostly listened while driving cars, this ads are going to run during the whole year. After a running during a month, it will stop for the next month and next one will run again.
With newspaper and magazines we are going to use the "Pulsing" method, which is a mix of "Continuity" and "Flighting" methods. During sport shows season, we will use a "Continuity" method; moreover, when off season, we will take the "Flighting" method, running the ad during a week and stopping it the next week.
-Total budget for the project = $75,000
Brand name recognition:
Ford is constantly recognized for being the largest truck manufacturer.
