A Pod/Vodcast is used to entertain or convey information
The word Pod means "portable on demand" and Vod means "video on demand"; both come from a hybrid of iPod and broadcasting.
A podcast is distinguished from other digital media formats by its ability to be syndicated, subscribed to, and downloaded automatically when new content is added, using an aggregator or feed reader capable of reading feed formats such as RSS or Atom.
Have we really come that far?
Wiki is a piece of server software that allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web browser. Wiki supports hyperlinks and has a simple text syntax for creating new pages and crosslinks between internal pages on the fly.
A blog (an abridgment of the term web log) is a website, usually maintained by an individual, with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.
Delicious is an online bookmarking site. You can search for and explore other peoples’ favorite sites. You can also search for specific “tagged” sites that others use, you can recommend sites for other people, and you can add others to your site for sharing.
Flickr is an online photography site
that allows you to geo-tag your images
to anywhere in the world for people to share and see.
Multi User Virtual Environment

In Second Life, you are able to acquire an avatar, a digital rendering of a person. You can customize your avatar to look like anyone, or anything. In Second Life, you are free to roam the Second life universe and mix socially with other avatars, take classes, work a part-time job (for real money), see items, and more.
Microsoft Surface
The Microsoft Surface interface unit allowed the user to manipulate information by using only their fingers. Added benefits include the wireless downloading of information from digital devices including video cameras, picture cameras, media players, and cell phones.
Until now...Microsoft stayed out of the computer-building business
But...not anymore...
And evolved into this..
