Summary Of Catcher In The Rye
Catcher In The Rye- By: J.D Salinger was about a young man named Holden Caulfield who had a one long weekend of nothing but nightmares. He is explaining his weekend from a mental hospital. Holden got kicked out of a high school (Pency Prep). He got into a huge fight with his roommate (Stradlater) because he did some things with this girl Holden really likes. Then he left to New York and snuck home to see his little sister (Phoebe) because he miss her. After that he went to visit another one of his old teachers (Mr.Antolini) who was feeling all on him in his sleep so he left his home. Holden was getting fed up with everything and everyone so he was about to leave to another state. Phoebe tried to come with him but he told her no. So they got into a huge argument.
