Muscle system
The muscular system is responsible for the movement of the human body.
It is made up of 700 named muscles and make up roughly half a persons body weight.
While most people associate muscles with strength they do more than assist lifting heavy weights...

Cardiac muscles are
found in the heart
It is a muscle tissue that helps pump blood throughout the body.
The muscle has evolved enough to have incredibly high contractile strength and endurance
Cardiac muscle cells have a branched shape so that each
cell is in contact with three of four other cardiac muscle cells.
Smooth muscles are
responsible for
the contraction of hollow
organs.
We cannot control its
movements therefor they
are also known as
involuntary musles
Smooth muscles are located in our stomach and digestive system.
Smooth muscles are found in your bladder and allow you to hold in your urine.
Skeletal muscle is the only voluntary muscle tissue in the hymen body.
You use skeletal muscle for many everyday activities such as speaking, writing, and walking.
Skeletal muscle derives its name from the fact that these muscles always connect to the skeleton in at least one place.

Muscle Fatigue
A flexor muscle is a skeletal muscle whose contraction bends a joint, decreasing the angle between components of a limb, such as straightening the wrist.
The extensor muscle has the opposite affect which means it opens the joint, increasing the angle between components of a limb, like extending the arm.
Muscle fatigue is the decline in ability of a muscle to generate force. It can be a result of vigorous exercise but abnormal fatigue may be caused by barriers to or interference with the different stages of muscle contraction. Muscle fatigue can also occur when more effort then normal is required to achieve a desired level of force.
Isometric muscle contractions is when a muscle contracts but doesn't cause any movement.
Eccentric muscles get longer when the contract.
Concentric muscles get shorter when the contract.
Skeletal muscle is also known as strained muscles.

Muscles bones and tendons all have characteristics that make them what they are but they also can all be related to each other. A tendon is a band of connective tissue that connects muscle to bone. The tendons and muscles work together to control joint movement. When a muscle contracts, it pulls on the tendon, which then pulls the bone to cause movement.

An all or none response is the threshold response of each particular nerve cell and muscle fiber to a stimulus. A nerve cell will fire completely or not at all, and a muscle fiber will contract to its limit with a stimulus; both rest fully in the absence of stimulus.
