Blood Pressure & Lung Function Fitness Testing for Sport & Exercise Blood Pressure Blood pressure measured using a digital blood pressure monitor and is displayed as: Lung Function Peak expiratory flow is a person's maximum speed of expiration, as measured with a peak flow meter, a device used to monitor a person's ability to breathe out air Next Week's Lesson Collecting all of your results together before making recommendations Systolic Blood Pressure
(When heart is contracting) Diastolic Blood Pressure
(When heart is relaxing - filling with blood) Average - desirable BP - 120/80 mmhg Above Average - borderline - 140/90 mmhg High Blood Pressure - 160/100 mmhg In pairs, measure each other's blood pressure It measures airflow through the bronchi, and the degree of obstruction through the airways.
