The title of the book “THINK AND GROW RICH” itself conveys the apt message. It talks about the state of mind being instrumental in the process of achieving success. The author has compiled a set of virtually 13 commandments that one must possess to achieve riches. These invaluable points highlighted by the author are a result of years of keen research and the source of inspiration for the author to write this book has been none other than Mr Andrew Carnegie.
This book talks about the ‘SECRET’ to sure shot riches, a tried and tested method passed on by Andrew Carnegie himself. The author asserts that this ‘SECRET’ has been adopted by many people, who became big names. The 13 steps told in this book narrow down to one concrete attribute for one to become successful. That attribute is the ‘DESIRE’ one should possess and the concept of ‘FAITH’. The book also focuses a great deal on the ‘CONFIDENCE’ and the ways to enhance one’s confidence, embedded in the 13 commandments.
Hence the ‘SECRET’ is none other than the person him/herself. The capabilities he/she holds and one’s inability to tap these potential, generally arising out of “SIX GHOSTS OF FEAR”.
By no means has this book conveyed that one can just dream and become rich. Though it provides great insights, which can be used when one decides to tread the path of success.
