00:01 - 00:02
Hello.
00:02 - 00:09
I'm the ceo slash president of Starbucks and I'm going to explain how I'm going to
00:09 - 00:12
be changing things around for the company and
00:12 - 00:14
break things down in this presentation for you.
00:16 - 00:21
So for the business, Starbucks hasn't been successful lately,
00:21 - 00:23
but I am willing to change that for them
00:24 - 00:28
and especially for this company being so big and known.
00:29 - 00:32
Um I think it's time for a change for that
00:35 - 00:43
and I have a plan for that which is an objective such as increased the revenue,
00:43 - 00:45
increase market shares,
00:46 - 00:48
increase more customers,
00:48 - 00:51
get more opportunities for the customers
00:52 - 00:56
and when I say give more opportunities for the customers, I mean like give them
00:58 - 01:00
some more deals.
01:00 - 01:05
Um have them get more opportunities within the company.
01:05 - 01:07
Such as promoting more of our
01:08 - 01:14
merge or our coffees that we sell such as the ground coffees or the K cups
01:15 - 01:16
or
01:16 - 01:18
the regular reusable cups
01:19 - 01:21
or even gift cards.
01:22 - 01:25
And I feel like that will help bring more
01:25 - 01:28
customers but also give them opportunities within the company.
01:31 - 01:34
And for the turnaround plan more investments
01:35 - 01:36
would be happening,
01:36 - 01:39
having higher performances
01:39 - 01:45
and having a new and solid plan for Starbucks and not such as um
01:46 - 01:51
a old plan that would have us be in the same
01:51 - 01:56
page as we are right now and not being so successful. We don't want that.
01:56 - 02:02
So I'm planning on having more of a solid and stern plan for Starbucks,
02:05 - 02:12
a goal that I have is achieving high quality and continuous growth for the company
02:12 - 02:14
such as having profit
02:15 - 02:17
more connection slash relationships
02:18 - 02:19
such as having
02:19 - 02:26
relations with our vendors or people that help us in any way
02:27 - 02:29
and having a great work environment
02:30 - 02:31
such as
02:31 - 02:35
in our company but not just in our company.
02:35 - 02:38
But we wanted a great environment for our customers to
02:38 - 02:42
be welcomed and when they purchase something with us,
02:42 - 02:43
we want them to feel
02:44 - 02:44
like
02:46 - 02:50
we care as much as we do with our employees.
02:54 - 02:58
And organizing for Starbucks would be divided in
02:59 - 02:59
with
03:00 - 03:05
human resources specializations, accountability into
03:06 - 03:07
compartmentalization
03:11 - 03:12
and the leading
03:13 - 03:14
would be
03:14 - 03:19
subordinates, personalities, values and attitudes.
03:20 - 03:21
And when I say these
03:22 - 03:25
um I mean within our
03:26 - 03:28
employees we wouldn't judge.
03:28 - 03:29
We would have different values,
03:29 - 03:33
different attitudes when we would go in a different work environment
03:34 - 03:35
and
03:35 - 03:39
just have opportunities to have communication
03:39 - 03:42
within our employees and respect them
03:46 - 03:50
and for controls, establishing performance standards,
03:50 - 03:55
comparing actual performances against the standards, taking
03:56 - 03:58
corrective action when necessary
03:59 - 04:03
and when I mean performance standards, I mean
04:03 - 04:04
having
04:04 - 04:06
different revenue
04:07 - 04:09
and also that can mean
04:10 - 04:13
the units that are produced within the company
04:13 - 04:19
having costs such as the number of defective products if we
04:20 - 04:23
ever came across that and we would move on
04:23 - 04:30
with that and see what's wrong with our system or our providers that we get
04:30 - 04:37
our products from and the profits such as levels of quality or customer service.
04:37 - 04:41
And that's a really big one because customer service is a big
04:42 - 04:45
type of quality that we look for
04:46 - 04:47
financial statements,
04:48 - 04:51
cell reports, production results,
04:51 - 04:56
customer satisfaction and I think customer satisfaction
04:56 - 04:57
is a big one because it will
04:57 - 05:02
help with our revenue and our cost and within the company it will help us
05:03 - 05:04
game
05:04 - 05:08
more of our goal achieved.
05:08 - 05:10
And it will show that
05:10 - 05:16
we actually do care about our customers and they are pleased and satisfied with the
05:17 - 05:21
work environment and with the service that we provide for them.
05:21 - 05:25
And also formal performance API's ALS.
05:25 - 05:29
And I think all of these are important because
05:29 - 05:33
it will show the performances that we give to
05:34 - 05:39
our customers and just our environment that we welcome them with
05:40 - 05:41
in our company.
05:43 - 05:51
So that is my presentation and I hope this will change the company around
05:52 - 05:54
for you and for Starbucks.
05:54 - 05:55
Thank you.
