  2. My name is Kyle Turman.
  3. I am from philadelphia pennsylvania.
  4. I currently reside in the wonderful state of Maryland around

  8. C. Maryland Virginia for those who may not know that.
  9. Um I went to undergrad and the wonderful indiana University
  10. of Pennsylvania and then I traveled to morgan state and
  11. Which brings me back to Gwynedd Mercy University.
  12. I've been in higher education for about 15 years now.
  13. Um I currently serves as the manager of transfer services
  14. for all Prince George's Community College campuses.
  15. Um I have one child who will be starting college
  16. soon so we're just trying to get through this last
  17. academic year before he transitions on.
  18. Um One thing about this course that um I'm excited
  19. about is the overall topic because it not only applies
  20. to the things that we're learning in today's society.
  21. It really applies to a lot of things that are
  22. applicable to my job.
  23. I deal with a diverse range of students from different
  24. backgrounds, cultures, and we still see that some of the
  25. things that we're doing within my current institution, in many
  26. institutions where all students aren't inclusive or we're not doing
  27. all programs that are equitable.
  28. So I hope that this course will continue to aid
  29. me in my journey and keep me abreast of additional
  30. or more information that I can use to make more
  31. informed decisions that empower all students.
