  8. of certain things to the writing and how they are important to do it
  9. and how I can use them when I write a story.
  10. This book is a great book and I think everyone
  11. should try and give this truly adventurous book a very
  12. good try.
  13. It is full of adventure and great stories of The Hobbit.
  14. The point of view in this book is a big part of how you understand and read a book.
  15. The point of view really gives the reader the feeling that they
  16. are really in the book or on the adventure with the characters.
  17. The point of view,
  18. The Hobbit is written is from the third person on Mission point of view.
  19. And Jr Told King has written this book in a fantastic way
  20. because she really makes you feel like you were in the book
  21. and you're like you are on the adventure with bilbo and the others.
  22. I love the way Jr writes this book and it really makes me feel.
  23. It really makes it feel so real
  24. and it makes you want to read more and more.
  25. This is a very well written book and I think it
  26. is one of my favorite books I have ever read,
  27. christian or non christian.
  28. Jrr token is a roman catholic who has raised,
  29. He was raised in the faith by his mother because his father had
  30. died when he was at the age of the age of only three,
  31. His mother had converted Roman Catholic to Roman Catholic legalism and
  32. had raised him in the Roman Catholic Church and Ways.
  33. JJ jr had loved his mom but she sadly passed away when he was only 12 years old.
  34. They said left him an orphan
  35. as an orphan
  36. but he had still been a devout roman catholic his whole entire
  37. life and has shaped his writing around some of his beliefs.
  38. A setting of The Hobbit is in a in a fictional setting,
  39. fictional setting and takes place at the Hobbit Hole forest, mountains,
  40. rivers and other places on this fictional land in the book
  41. there
  42. it is a place called The Hobbit Hole and this is
  43. where the Hobbit lives peacefully and calmly until a man named Gandalf
  44. until a man named Gandalf had come and disturb his safe home
  45. in the Hobbit Hole area.
  46. The Hobbit then
  47. the Hobbit then travels through a forest where some
  48. elves or dwarves lived and followed the Hobbit somewhere
  49. some way before capturing him and his group of dwarves but eventually ended up
  50. losing them after the hip hop Hobbit had escaped and freed the others.
  51. Then after they traveled to the mountains and
  52. the hills where a dragon lived named Smog
  53. main characters and the protagonist, the main characters of the book,
  54. the hub of the Hobbit is the Hobbit.
  55. The Hobbit's name is bilbo baggins and he lives in a
  56. Hobbit hole which he does not like to travel far from.
  57. Also he likes to eat cake for the most
  58. for most of his lonely meals,
  59. he drank tea for his beverage with the many cakes he ate bilbo is
  60. quiet as a quiet Hobbit and doesn't
  61. like much interaction outside of his own choosing
  62. and he really took pride in his beautiful Hobbit
  63. Hole which his father had built for his mother.
  64. But one day bilboa greeted
  65. by Gandalf who changed his little life forever.
  66. Gandalf invited bilbo
  67. bilbo more forcing cannot invited bilbo more forcing him to
  68. go on the adventure or journey which was dangerous and long
  69. this made bilboa strong and fast
  70. but sly.
  71. Hobbit bilbo was not really not really smart and had brave or courageous
  72. in what he did was brave and courageous and what she did,
  73. he was gaining respect from his fellow companions.
  74. The antagonist.
  75. The antagonist in this book is that
  76. it's smart.
  77. Smog is the main antagonist. Smog is a nasty beast and that
  78. and he inhabits a mountain filled with golden jewelry or riches.
  79. Smog is a dragon and he has no mercy for the dwarves and bilbo.
  80. Small is a fire breathing dragon. In fact
  81. dragon.
  82. In fact he even tries to kill bobo underworld by shooting his blazing flame at them.
  83. Smog camps outside the mountain he stays and he stays in
  84. no and he stays in because the dwarves had taken it and closed off and close it off
  85. and smoke couldn't fill fit through the hole they
  86. had left there on the side of the mountain.
  87. Smog gets mad and then goes back and looks to see if the dwarves had escaped but when,
  88. but he had been gone for a while and so the doors got out of the mountain but then
  89. they met, they meet smog awhile after they fight
  90. in awhile after they fight
  91. this fight ends up with someone dying but you have
  92. to read a book to figure this one out.
  93. The conflict of problem, the conflict of problem in the book,
  94. The Hobbit is that bilbo and the dwarves have to travel all around the fictional land
  95. and Bill runs into some exciting things that
  96. threaten his safety and the drawer of safety.
  97. The conflict in the book is bobo is
  98. of bilbo is bilbo's versus himself which is an internal conflict
  99. in the Hobbit.
  100. It is also man versus man because bilbo fights other creatures and the men like him
  101. but it is mainly bilbo versus himself,
  102. bilbo has to fight the dragon Smog and fight a big battle at the end
  103. at the end of the book and this is a really hard thing to do, so this is
  104. to do so this is a problem and conflict because bilbo faces himself,
  105. although some people knew bilbo very well
  106. did well did die, although
  107. some people build will knew very well did die in the battle or other events.
  108. Bill will still get through it and figure out what to do. After this all happens,
  109. the solution,
  110. the solution for bilbo was to fight and hope that he lives after the battle
  111. against Smog and then also he regains his armor after the altercation with Smog,
  112. Smog was not easy to bring down because he even,
  113. but even when he was being defeated,
  114. he was doing plenty of damage to the little village they were nearby.
  115. Smog kept fighting until someone spotted a weak spot in his armor and shot at him,
  116. striking down from his loft in the sky above.
  117. This made them very happy because Smog had all the riches they ever needed and all
  118. the armor and weapons they ever needed to
  119. replenish them from their last trip and fight.
  120. Also, he runs into some other problems such as the battle at the end of the book
  121. At the end,
  122. when someone of Bilbo's closest friends and followers
  123. die in the battle of the five armies
  124. and this is a horrible feeling for bilbo because he loses a lot but
  125. also gains victory for the most part at the end of the battle,
  126. the summary
  127. bilbo an insignificant Hobbit that has no special authority and is not popular,
  128. is approached by a big man called Gandalf
  129. who talks to him and invites him on a journey of a lifetime.
  130. But bilbo being a Hobbit isn't used to leaving his Hobbit hole
  131. in the hills and he doesn't feel secure leaving the Hobbit hole.
  132. But dwarves raided his house and the next day to talk to him and have the doors.
  133. But dwarves raid his house the next day to talk to him and
  134. have a feast while negotiating with him to come on this adventurous journey.
  135. But bilbo being bilbo doesn't feel
  136. doesn't want to go on the adventure
  137. but in the morning the dwarves aren't in his house anymore.
  138. So he goes to goes and looks where they said they would have
  139. said they would be and finds them.
  140. Then bobo is with them and decides
  141. decides or is forced to go on the trip
  142. and the start of the trip and at the start of the trip bilbo and the dwarves,
  143. mute trolls and goblins in the mountains.
  144. They get captured and bilbo gets
  145. lost. Then the doors and meat
  146. and then the doors
  147. but get but gets lost then gets towards
  148. again that gets a ring that turns him invisible.
  149. Then he goes with the dwarves and goes on to the mountains
  150. we're smog dwells and
  151. in
  152. and then bilbo and the dwarves are chased into a part
  153. of the mountain where Smog the evil dragon can't get them.
  154. But after a couple of days they left the safety of the mountain
  155. and found smog on their way out of the mountains and killed him after
  156. he already destroyed a town on the river.
  157. Then they go on and fight in the battle of the five armies
  158. and then thorne and Gandalf die and some
  159. other people build with dearly likes and knows.
  160. Then Bill wins the battle along with some other soldiers or armies.
  161. I'm going to read
  162. my favorite part of the book. I chose this part of the book because
  163. this book because this part of the book has some riddles that
  164. are very cool and they sound very interesting and complex to me.
  165. I'm gonna read paging, reading pages
  166. 76 - 78.
  167. Mhm.
  168. This he thought a dreadfully easy chestnut,
  169. though he had not asked it in the usual words,
  170. but it provided a nasty
  171. closure for gollum, he hissed himself. And still he did not answer, he whispered,
  172. and spluttered after some while bobo became impatient. Well what is it? He said,
  173. the answer.
  174. The answer is not a kettle boiling over as you
  175. seem to think from the noise you worth making.
  176. Give us a chance. Let it give us a chance, my precious
  177. well, said bilbo giving, after giving him a long chance. What about your guess
  178. but suddenly gone,
  179. remembered thieving from nest long ago and sitting under the riverbank,
  180. teaching his grandmother,
  181. teaching his
  182. teaching his grandmother, teaching his grandmother to suck
  183. eggs. Is he missed eggs as it is! Then? He asked,
  184. alive without breath.
  185. As cold as death, never thirsty, ever drinking all in mail, never clinking.
  186. He
  187. Also in his turn thought this was a dreadfully easy one,
  188. because he was always thinking of the answer,
  189. but he could not remember anything better at the moment.
  190. He was so flustered by the egg. Question all that, all the same.
  191. It was a pleasure for the for the poor bilbo
  192. who never had anything to do with the waiter water.
  193. If if you could help it, I imagine you know the answer of course, or can guess it,
  194. it's as easy as winking since you are sitting comfortably at home
  195. and have not the danger of being eaten to disturb your thinking,
  196. bilbo sat and cleared his throat once or twice, but no answer came
  197. after a while. Going had become began to hiss with pleasure to him himself.
  198. Is it nice, my precious? Is it juicy? Is it scrumptious,
  199. scrumptious lee crunch hable!
  200. He began to pierre a bilbo out of the darkness.
  201. Half a moment! Said the hobbit, shivering.
  202. I gave
  203. I gave you a long chance just now.
  204. It might, it must make haste haste,
  205. said Dolan, beginning to climb out of
  206. his boat
  207. onto the shore to get at bilbo.
  208. But when he put his long with the foot in the water,
  209. a fish jumped out in a fright and fell on bilbo's toes, he said.
  210. It is cold and clammy. So and so he guessed. Fish! Fish! He cried out.
  211. It is fish column was dreadfully disappointed, but bilbo asked another riddle,
  212. as quick as ever he could,
  213. so that dawn had
  214. have to get back in his boat and think.
  215. No legs,
  216. no legs lay on one leg, two legs sat in here, and three legs. Four legs, got some.
  217. It was not really the right time for this riddle, but bilbo was
  218. in a hurry.
  219. Golem might have had some trouble guessing it if he had asked it another time,
  220. as it was talking, or a fish, no legs!
  221. It was not so very difficult, and after,
  222. and after that the rest was easy.
  223. Fish on a little table, man at table sitting on a stool.
  224. The cat has his bones,
  225. that of course, is the answer, and Golem soon gave it.
  226. Then he gave the time
  227. he'd get. Then he thought the time had come to ask something hard and horrible.
  228. This is what he said.
  229. This thing. All things devours
  230. birds, beasts, trees, flowers, gnaws, iron bites, steel grinds,
  231. hard stones to meal
  232. slays, king ruins, town, and beats high mountain down.
  233. Poor Bill was sat in a dark thinking of all the horrible names of the giants,
  234. and or eggs
  235. ogres he had ever heard heard
  236. ever heard told of
  237. in
  238. tails.
  239. But one of them had
  240. had all these things.
  241. He had a feeling that the answer is quite different, and that he ought to know it,
  242. but he couldn't think.
  243. Not think of it, he began to frighten, begin.
  244. He began to get frightened, and this
  245. and that is bad for thinking. Golden began to get out of his boat.
  246. He flapped into the water and paddled to the bank.
  247. Bilbo could see his eyes coming towards him, his tongue seemed to stick in his mouth.
  248. He wanted to shout out, give me more time, give me more time.
  249. But all that came out was with a sudden school was time.
  250. Time bilbo was saved by poor pure luck for that of course, was the answer.
  251. Golem was disappointed once more.
  252. And now he was getting angry and also tired of the game.
  253. It had made him
  254. very hungry indeed.
  255. This time he did not go back to the boat. He sat down in the dark
  256. in the dark by bobo that made The Hobbit most dreadfully uncomfortable,
  257. and scattered his wits.
  258. It's got
  259. to ask us a question, my precious Yes, yes, yes.
  260. Just one more question. Yes, yes, yes, yes. And all
  261. literary devices.
  262. For my first little advice I got hyperbole.
  263. I am not going to disappear this very instant, he said, page 1 14.
  264. Then suddenly a great light appeared in the low place in
  265. the hills and the northern end of the lake turned golden.
  266. My 2nd literary devices similes.
  267. Then the trees by the shore shone like copper and like blood, with weeping
  268. weeping shadows of dense black at their feet. Page 2 49
  269. My 3rd 1 is foreshadowing,
  270. foreshadowing is when it mentioned something in the book that happens later on.
  271. The dwarf said they were going to the woods to cross it,
  272. and they ended up doing that later in the book.
