  1. Hi everyone, this is my presentation on discovering self management.
  2. Looking back now, I realized one of the first things
  3. I was lacking was planning.
  4. I had no planning.
  5. Sure. I was a very spontaneous person, always searching for
  6. my next adventure.
  7. I never had any into plans or many goals that
  8. I consistently thought about.
  9. So this started making me feel very overwhelmed between starting
  10. school, working full time raising my son and then trying
  11. to live my current lifestyle.
  12. I was becoming even more lost.
  13. I was trying to accomplish everything I was doing before
  14. school, like working out, going on hikes every other day,
  15. going to the movies or kids with my family or
  16. even sitting at my aunt's house into the late hours
  17. of the night.
  18. Again, I was quickly becoming overwhelmed.
  19. The next thing I had to do was really look
  20. at the bigger picture.
  21. Um with my priorities in a disarray, I knew I
  22. had to change the way I was currently living my
  23. life. I had to change my habits in order to
  24. be successful in all areas of my life.
  25. I found important, how did I start this change?
  26. Well, I wrote down everything I was currently doing with
  27. my life.
  28. I wrote down everything I wanted to do with my
  29. life. Okay.
  30. And then lastly I wrote down everything that I needed
  31. to reach my goals, combining the list.
  32. I became aware of what was truly important to me
  33. and what was not important.
  34. I was able to prioritize my goals in order to
  35. create my own success.
  36. So I now understand my priorities, figuring them out has
  37. been life changing.
  38. I can now see my goals and by utilizing myself
  39. management skills, I can prioritize the steps needed to obtain
  40. them. Yeah, I really enjoyed class.
  41. Um thank you guys for listening to my presentation.
