In conclusion, this scholarly article researched interview questions and how applicants respond to them.
Knowing that creating relationships with applicants along with asking general questions, shows positive results for most and will bring higher willingness for referrals among professionals.

Hello, everyone.
So in today's presentation, we're going to be going over
a scholarly journal that basically compares interview question types and
applicant reactions to these types of questions and what is
more successful, what is least successful based off of the
questions and applicants reactions.
So this is an overview slide of what will be
included in the scholarly journal.
And, like I just said, it has to do with
applicant reactions versus interview questions and the way that the
interviewer is also conducting themselves.
Um, they did investigate situational pattern behavior description and general
interview questions, and they came up with a research plan
questions. They also had predictions.
Then they went ahead and found applicants and performed the
research to then evaluate the findings.
So applicants and question types so general questions were relatively
independent of other types and appeared to reflect more personality
and questions that showed personality, um seem to be helpful
to applicants, toe understand company culture and based their answers
to be a little bit more successful in the interview
process. There was over 179 applicants selected for the questioning,
and they had to go through to interview rounds and
meet the minimum G p a requirement to be a
part of this type of research, since it is a
little more serious.
And then, after three years of gathering results with the
179 applicants, there were 179 in the first round and
then on Lee.
139 made it to the second round, and it showed
that applicants were more favorable to general questions.
Um, I guess, due to personality being included in those
rather than situational or pattern behavior.
And most applicants felt as though they would recommend an
employer based on the interviewers behavior during the application process.
Eso That's something important to note to make sure that
those who are interviewing candidates are making sure that they're
being professional and staying on topic so that the company
can continue to receive referrals.
And based on the research adults, there are recommendations.
Basically, it's very important to use multiple question types, but
especially General.
And then there's an emphasis on creating close relationships because
it seems that there is positive feedback from the applicants.
From with that and then tow limit the situational or
pattern behavior description interviewing.
And then this type of interviewing has been shown to
be effective and then on the last side.
It's just the main conclusions of the article and knowing
that creating relationships with applicants, along with asking general questions
and showing it really does show positive results for most
and will bring higher willingness for referrals in the long
run. So I hope you enjoyed this presentation and I'll
