  1. first I'd like to start off by giving us overall summary of the community as a whole.
  2. Overall my community has proven to be the best, with the ranking being number one.

  15. is no matter the circumstances for people in my community,
  16. they have access to whatever it is they need
  17. with everything being so close to our county.

  19. the first thing my community does well is the
  20. access people have two important health items in life,
  21. meaning
  22. that there is easy access to grocery
  23. stores and restaurants for food purposes and also
  24. easy access to pharmacies for all that good stuff as well.
  25. There are six grocery stores
  26. Near closest being one too,
  27. 1.2 Miles away from me
  28. And there are 10 restaurants near being
  29. 4.2 mi away from me as well
  30. for the personal experience,
  31. I agree with all this because living here my whole life,
  32. There is all this within a 3-5 mile radius of most a county
  33. which having all this so close to home is huge.
  34. The second thing my community does well
  35. and I saw is overall health concerns
  36. that
  37. people have
  38. Aren't high at all, meaning adult smoking is at 14%.
  39. Adult obesity is 21% and excessive drinking is 26%.
  40. All are very decent numbers to have in the community.
  41. From personal experience and just being around this county and community. I can see
  42. why these numbers are where they're at. And not too many people I know have
  43. have or are struggling with these issues
  44. after going back through each step of the community projects.
  45. The one area that I feel like
  46. community should work on
  47. the most is getting people of all involved around the community,
  48. meaning I haven't seen many ways for us, people to get involved and if
  49. there are, they need to get it out to us in the community
  50. more because I guarantee
  51. some of us are willing to do more in order to make the community better,
  52. then it already is
  53. from personal experience, There hasn't
  54. been much of me or my family getting involved in order to help the community
  55. and when I do it,
  56. it is school based.
  57. So in order for us to help out those who are in need around our community.

  59. community needs to do a better job of sending
  60. out or advertising it around the community more.

  62. Lastly,
  63. one way I am going to thank my community for all it's done for
  64. me is simply just start to recycle more than I have my whole life.
  65. It's important to recycling out there, being in this class all semester.
  66. It's also important to help those around you so everyone can live a healthy life.
  67. We're sexually is huge and isn't talked about as much as it should be
  68. because the overall effect it would have for
  69. each and every community if everyone recycled daily
  70. would be tremendous.
  71. Also seeing stuff just laying around the community each
  72. day that people were too lazy to go recycle.
  73. Also wrote me a lot.
  74. So, in seeing this,
  75. I am going to do my part to try and
  76. make the community healthier by starting to recycle every day
  77. over. Overall, my community has been huge to me.
  78. So the least I can do is try to make this place better.
