  1. hello, AP history students.
  2. I hope you are all doing well.
  3. I am concerned about you, at least some of you,
  4. because I haven't received some assignments and they're really, really
  5. important. So first of all, the B B Q is
  6. a short shortened, maybe que compared to others we have
  7. done in preparation for the coming AP test.
  8. So you only have to cite four documents instead of
  9. six, and you need you could have two additional pieces
  10. of evidence instead of just one.
  11. So it's unique and it's different, and it's super important
  12. that you get that into me.
  13. For one, it's a great in my class for two.
  14. It's really going to help you prepare.
  15. I'm going to allow you to revise this as many
  16. times as you want to get the grade you want.
  17. But that is only going to help you if that
  18. gets done before test day.
  19. Okay, so get that to me as soon as you
  20. can, and I'm giving very deep held feedback, so I
  21. need it soon, so I have time to do that
  22. next for this week.
  23. I know it's only Friday, so things could happen before
  24. Monday, but I have only had one person sign into
  25. the Quisling classroom I created to study the factual terms
  26. that quiz let list that Sarah made for us.
  27. It's really important that you study those because I know
  28. that on test date, it's open book open notes the
  29. first time ever Open book open notes.
  30. But really, they are comfortable doing that because they know
  31. in 45 minutes to write a good DVD.
  32. Que if you have to look up a bunch of
  33. stuff, it's going to hurt your writing because it's going
  34. to take too much time.
  35. Even if you don't just do book and notes and
  36. had your iPad lying there and we're looking stuff up
  37. on the Internet, that could take too long.
  38. And I don't want you guys to get stuck.
  39. Now. It's one thing to be studied up and have
  40. all that those terms and your head and go, Oh,
  41. what was that?
  42. Real quick?
  43. Okay, yeah, that's right.
  44. And keep going and a completely other thing to go.
  45. I have no idea.
  46. Let's look up some stuff and it'll take too long.
  47. So it's really important that you study these terms so
  48. that you have them in your head, and it'll just
  49. make writing day go so much better.
  50. So study those.
  51. I'm also going to work on creating some charts for
  52. you guys about you can use on test day, for
  53. example, the unit outlined that you guys were created with
  54. the units here and the themes here.
  55. I'm going to print those out and put him in
  56. your folders, or you can pull him up online, and
  57. that will be a great study.
  58. Help. So when you get the D.
  59. V. Q question, you can look at that time period
  60. and kind of see some of the big ideas of
  61. what's happened and then around it, and that will help
  62. you do contextualized a shit.
  63. It may give you some ideas forcing additional evidence.
  64. So I'm hoping that will be helpful on test day
  65. as well.
  66. Please, please, please do those things on Monday.
  67. I know for sure that we're going to do the
  68. quiz, and I'm still planning out the rest of week,
  69. primarily because I haven't gotten some of these things from
  70. you. So I am worried because I do want to
  71. move us onto Unit eight because I want you guys
  72. to get a few more things that you could use
  73. on the test.
  74. But also, we need to finish out the school year,
  75. right? Get our eastern dual credit information covered as well.
  76. So let me know if you're having troubles.
  77. I I want to work with you guys and make
  78. sure everyone is up.
  79. Everyone has what they need and talk to me.
  80. Let me know.
  81. Okay? I'm hoping to hear from you guys soon.
