  1. Good morning, boys and girls.
  2. I hope you all had an awesome four day weekend.
  3. I know my family and I did.
  4. It was well deserved.
  5. It was a good time of resting.
  6. And now we are ready to kick off Week four
  7. of distance learning.
  8. Can you believe boys and girls?
  9. I mean, I want nothing more to just be in
  10. that costume with, with 14 bodies at each desk and
  11. just face to face and teaching you all.
  12. But in due time, we will see each other.
  13. So let's go ahead and begin our our morning with
  14. prayer. And then we will start on our lesson.
  15. Father. God, I thank you for the time that you've
  16. given us with our families.
  17. It was much needed.
  18. It's refreshing.
  19. And I pray that you just help us to have
  20. a great attitude as we embark on week four of
  21. distance learning, Father God, I know that my students are
  22. making the most of it and that they are learning.
  23. And this just just helping them thio to continue to
  24. have them those noggins learning and growing.
  25. And I just pray that you would guide us through
  26. this stay Lord, prepare their hearts and their minds to
  27. receive your word in Jesusname.
  28. Amen. So the song that's in my head because I
  29. usually start off with a song and we start our
  30. Bible for the day is my goddess so great, so
  31. strong and so mighty.
  32. There's nothing My God cannot.
  33. D'oh! We've been learning about our God's omnipotence and how
  34. there's nothing impossible for our God.
  35. He is the creator of everything that we see and
  36. even things that we do not see.
  37. Our mind cannot fathom the greatness of our God.
  38. And that song is just on my mind is my
  39. God. It is so great, so strong and so mighty.
  40. There's nothing my God cannot do, so I'll go ahead
  41. and put it on your schedule.
  42. And if you like, you can worship with your siblings
  43. or with your family, or maybe just you on your
  44. own to that song.
  45. Because I know I'd sure do miss doing Pavilion boys
  46. and Girls.
  47. But let's go ahead and get into our Bible lesson
  48. before today it's about Jesus heals and we're not just
  49. gonna talk about any type of healing but Jesus healing
  50. a blind man.
  51. But I want you to think boys and girls.
  52. Try and put yourself in the position of a blind
  53. person. Is the best way I can tell you to
  54. do that is to try blind drawing.
  55. Usually you have someone next to you asking you.
  56. I'm telling you to close your eyes.
  57. You have a pencil, you got your paper and your
  58. eyes are closed and the person's giving you instructions or
  59. telling you draw a circle draws square draws and flowers
  60. draw his son in this guy.
  61. And it's so hard when you open up your eyes,
  62. for example, I'm gonna do right now I close my
  63. eyes, I'm gonna draw a triangle.
  64. A ce We're trying to make Hauser's window, but a
  65. draw the sun in the sky and then a cloud
  66. and some grass and in the grass I'm an ad
  67. of flour just because And then if I look at
  68. it Oh, pretty impressed.
  69. I think I draw a little bit better.
  70. My eyes closed and when I haven't opened.
  71. But that's my blind drawing right there on the reason
  72. why I'm telling you to try.
  73. And maybe if you just try, send me a, um,
  74. a picture of it on cost.
  75. Oh, drawing your per folio to sick picture and and
  76. put it on there.
  77. And I'd love to see how yours came out.
  78. But, um, just to kind of put our ourselves in
  79. a position of a person who is blind and how
  80. they have to do the everyday things that we d'oh,
  81. but just not able to with without sight, right how
  82. difficult that must be.
  83. So we're going to talk about a man who was
  84. born in Jerusalem that was born blind, and his The
  85. thing that he did on a daily basis was he
  86. begged for money.
  87. So it says in John, Chapter nine versus one through
  88. two. As he passed by, he saw a man blind
  89. from birth and his disciples asked him Rabbi, who sinned
  90. this man or his parents that he would be born
  91. blind. So they're asking Jesus, Why did this occur?
  92. Why is he, um why is he blind from birth?
  93. And back then boys and girls.
  94. Um, and even now people believe that things happen to
  95. people because of sin There, either sick or they have
  96. a disability Because someone sent it was either themselves or
  97. the parents in this case, he was born already blind,
  98. so it couldn't have been him.
  99. So the disciples are asking this question.
  100. Who was it?
  101. Who should we blame?
  102. And Jesus saying That's the wrong question.
  103. We should not be pointing fingers.
  104. We shouldn't say.
  105. Who should we blame?
  106. Okay, how is that going to fix anything?
  107. Right, boys and girls.
  108. Um but Jesus was saying you should be asking how
  109. can what can God do for him?
  110. That that should have been the correct question.
  111. But boys and girls, sometimes as as humans in our
  112. flesh, that's not the first thing to ask.
  113. What can God?
  114. D'oh! Our first thing to do is who can we
  115. blame or what can we blame in?
  116. In reality, we should be asking, What can God do
  117. for you or for the person who is suffering?
  118. And it says in John, Chapter 93 through five.
  119. We're going to continue.
  120. Jesus answered.
  121. Neither has his has this Manson, nor his parents, but
  122. that the works of God should be may known in
  123. him. I must work the works of him that that
  124. sent me while it is day the knife coming when
  125. no man can work as long as I am in
  126. the world.
  127. I am the life of the world.
  128. So Jesus is telling them here boys and girls that,
  129. um how they should have what they should have asked.
  130. But also why he Why this this This man was
  131. born blind.
  132. It was so that God's work could be shown through
  133. this man.
  134. Get He would also help the disciples understand how he
  135. was the light.
  136. It says they're in verse four that while it is
  137. still day he's referring to while I am still here
  138. with you because night is gonna come meaning night when
  139. he was going t o die and was no longer
  140. going to be with them.
  141. So while he was with them, he had to help
  142. them understand that Christ that God was in him and
  143. that God was working through him.
  144. And that's how he was being.
  145. The light of the world wasn't girls.
  146. God calls for me and you to go out and
  147. be the salt and the light.
  148. That means that when we walk in when we are
  149. around people, people should see crisis, which is the light.
  150. Whenever we go into a dark room was the first
  151. thing we look for the switch to turn on the
  152. lights so we can see when people see us walk
  153. in. They should see Christ in us.
  154. They should hear Christ in us.
  155. We should be representing our father in heaven.
  156. I know it's not always easy.
  157. Prezi on is easier said than done.
  158. I completely understand, but we have to strive on a
  159. daily basis to do so.
  160. Boys and girls.
  161. So we'll continue with the story in John, Chapter 9
  162. 67 after saying this, he spit on the ground, made
  163. some mud with the salt with saliva and put it
  164. on the man's eyes.
  165. Go, he told him.
  166. Wash in the pool that the word which means scent.
  167. So the man went and washed and came home seeing.
  168. So, um, you may be thinking he did what?
  169. Ms. Gonzalez.
  170. He spit in the mud and wikis.
  171. Saliva made like almost like maybe like a paste, and
  172. put it on the men's eyes.
  173. Told him to go and wash in there in the
  174. in a pool on when he washed off.
  175. What could a man he could see?
  176. God healed him, and you may be thinking, Why didn't
  177. you just touch him?
  178. He was touching many people, but boys and girls, he
  179. could have done that.
  180. But God wanted to show that, um that he is
  181. divine. He wanted to show that he has the power
  182. to heal in any way, even if it seems unusual.
  183. Tow us poison girls with God, nothing is unusual.
  184. His ways are not our ways.
  185. And it says that divine means of from or like
  186. God Excellent.
  187. Delightful. So everything that God did was perfect, even if
  188. it seemed unusual to us.
  189. I'm glad that God's ways are her not her ways,
  190. because, um, if they were, would we have gotten the
  191. full extent of what Christ was trained to show?
  192. So in all of this boys and girls, because of
  193. the man's obedience, he waas healed.
  194. The man shows his faith by obeying Jesus and because
  195. he obey, she's is even when I'm sure he heard
  196. Jesus going and spitting in the money is mixing it
  197. up, and I'm copping it up in his hands and
  198. then filling the moistness on his face.
  199. But that did not bother him.
  200. He got up.
  201. He when he washed his face in the pool.
  202. And when he got out, he could see and that's
  203. all that matter.
  204. It didn't matter how unusual it seemed to the people
  205. around him.
  206. All that mattered was that he could see and because
  207. of his foot obedience, his eyes were opened.
  208. And not only did he receive a blessing, but the
  209. people around because they knew of this man.
  210. They seen him since birth, how he was blind and
  211. how he would beg every single day.
  212. And now he could see getting the people are like,
  213. Oh, good for him.
  214. No, they were like, What has happened on Lee?
  215. God could do such a thing.
  216. They knew they understood that it was a miracle and
  217. they were also blessed by it.
  218. Blessed in what way?
  219. Boys and girls that their faith grew even more remember
  220. miracles were done and our dime so that me and
  221. you can grow in our faith.
  222. So I hope that you are blessed by this word.
  223. Don't keep it to yourself.
  224. Share it with your family.
  225. A sentence or two.
  226. Maybe even before bed opened up the Bible to John
  227. Chapter 9137 and read this story to someone ready to
  228. sibling with its apparent and just talk about God's greatness
  229. And how he had a plan for this young, this
  230. young man that from birth, Yes, he was going to
  231. be blind.
  232. But one day Jesus was going to meet with him,
  233. was gonna perform on unusual but amazing miracle using him
  234. be blast boys and girls love you until next time.
