  1. Hi everyone.
  2. It's Russell here from the presenter.
  3. I hope you are doing well.
  4. I just wanted to deliver a quick video to you
  5. to help you understand how you can refresh your demo
  6. presentations. Especially right now when we're all being forced to
  7. present virtually for the vast majority of the time now.
  8. Traditionally with demo presentations of physical products, we would of
  9. course travel to meet people in person.
  10. Remember those good old days, we'll get there again soon.
  11. But even though we have the physical product with us,
  12. we would still fire up a PowerPoint deck with images
  13. and bullet points and charts and graphs and lots of
  14. data, lots of cognitive overload for our audience.
  15. And of course a lot of that data and content
  16. was really, really important, but it was delivered in quite
  17. a dry way.
  18. Now add to that the fact that maybe for the
  19. last year or so you haven't been able to do
  20. those demo presentations in person, you've been forced to do
  21. them virtually.
  22. And you are now in a tiny little window at
  23. the top of someone's computer screen being viewed on your
  24. webcam. Now, what that can lead to of course is
  25. that your audience ends up completely lost because it's so
  26. difficult to just connect you and your content and the
  27. product that you're there to demo.
  28. So I want to give you this very, very quick
  29. tip on how you could use Prezi Video to present
  30. a demo of a real product and I'm going to
  31. use one of my favorite physical products.
  32. The sun is shining here in the UK and so
  33. most evenings I'm enjoying one or maybe a few of
  34. these lovely brew dog beers, but I'm just gonna move
  35. some of these out of the way for a second
  36. so that I can show you how we would focus
  37. in on this physical product to demo it.
  38. it may be that we want to zoom into the
  39. product and actually show a bit of information.
  40. So we could use simple text and shapes to do
  41. that right there alongside the product.
  42. And alongside me, the presenter, I'm a really important part
  43. as you are of every presentation that I deliver.
  44. We can then overlay some imagery on top of the
  45. product if we want to to show ingredients of this
  46. particular beer and so on.
  47. And of course we can bring in those charts and
  48. data that I talked about a second ago.
  49. They have their place, the audience will want to know
  50. that important data so we can bring that and link
  51. it very closely to the physical product as well.
  52. And of course we can do some neat things at
  53. the end of this.
  54. Um you know, by just overlaying images on top very,
  55. very simply.
  56. So think about the physical products that you have to
  57. present, it doesn't have to be a beer.
  58. Uh, it could be a new drinks bottle, it could
  59. be some piece of technology, a new speaker, maybe even
  60. a running shoe, whatever it might be.
  61. I would I urge you to please please consider Prezi
  62. video as a way of demoing virtually.
  63. If you think outside the box a little bit, you
  64. can really, really engage your audience and give them something
  65. that they really won't be expecting, especially for a virtual
  66. demonstration of a physical product.
  67. So that's all I want to share with you today.
  68. If you would like a free demo of Prezi Video
  69. or even the Prezi presentable itself, then please reach out
  70. to us on info at the presenter dot com and
  71. we'll be more than happy to jump on a call
  72. with you, show you the software, show you what it's
  73. capable of and how you can apply that to your
  74. own products and presentations.
  75. So the only thing left for me to do is
  76. really crack one of these open and enjoy.
  77. So thanks very much and cheers.
  78. Oh, damn, that's good.
