Good Morning, Spartans Eure morning announcements for Tuesday, October 24th.

It's a little confusing when I slug it this way.

Today is the last day of the first quarter. Hence the finish line. Hence the title.

Hence the fact that you need to finish up strong tomorrow. We begin with

a minimum day and the start of quarter two.

So this is an amazing opportunity to kind of restart

if you didn't and finish up excellently if you have,

remember the 1st and 2nd quarter,

go together to determine your first semester grades.

Yesterday was an excellent start to Spirit Week.

Thank you so much for those little white lies.

Miss when we know you're lying, you like Spirit Week as much as we do

today. It is Spirit Tuesday. It is Disney Tourist Day.

How come? No, Donald Duck, never seen much love for him.

Uh Tomorrow is Purple Day in fighting Lupus and recognizing

uh the great work of our colleague, Miss Stewart.

We missed so much purple day tomorrow for

on Thursday, it is going to be um

decades uh day. So whether you are honoring

the fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties, zeros or teens

do you do that.

Is there much to remember for there?

Anyway, that's gonna be Thursday's Day. Friday is Movie Day in honor of homecoming.

Of course, a special schedule for that as well.

Do not forget. Next week is the start of all the work for winter sports.

And the first one we have coming up, Monday is going to be for wrestling.

Open to literally all shapes and sizes, boys and girls divisions.

Coach Armando is building a powerful armada

join us in the small gym. If you have no winter sport

you do now, it's wrestling,

basketball.

In which case we're gonna have many teams, possibly a freshman team JV,

varsity teams as well.

For both girls and boys. Girls gonna be in the gym from 4 to 6.

Boys are gonna be in the gym from 6 to 8 30.

Be there both Monday and Tuesday for a chance to wear the blue and gold

less playing soccer. In which case you have a day or two to wait,

the soccer kids are gonna get out on the field, Wednesday, Thursday

and Friday with the opportunity to create another winning season. It's been a great

series of years for Peno Valley sports in winter.

We get even hotter this week,

girls tennis finishes up its play in league action and time for the playoffs.

North coast section for girls volleyball.

Ladies are traveling to Justin Sienna tomorrow. They have earned it big.

Congratulations.

We have cross country and they're in action Thursday

and it's gonna be the league championships next week. We wanted to honor water polo.

We shared some highlights yesterday of the boys game.

Here's what video production did for the girls. Remember?

They're in action Friday and Saturday also for a chance to win a league title.

Awesome.

And if you want to be part of video production, they meet Thursday after school.

It's homecoming Friday. A big game.

not just because it's homecoming because it's big in terms of the standings.

The Spartans taking on Jesse Bethel,

the win here and next week the Spartans become playoff eligible.

A very exciting thing. Indeed.

Tons of Halloween stuff to celebrate,

including the fact we are continuing tin or treat.

If you have a canned good or item and want to collect throughout this holiday season,

the Halloween holiday season,

it's gonna go to feed the less fortunate and we have teams on campus as well.

Uh, feel

free to take part in that.

This is the week to get your bus passes, go up to the health center today.

Uh All the bus passes for the month of November available now

MF and work experience is what a great job

experience to deal with challenging and difficult people.

It really serves you well,

I can speak from experience. It's an awesome skill to develop.

It's not natural, it's not a talent, it's something you can develop

and you can do it on the job.

the project was to take

photo that represents fall,

the orange and rusty red colors in the photo captured autumn,

the raindrops signify life and the changes of the seasons are represented

with a few of the flowers hanging on while the others have died.

That is a whole lot to put in one picture.

Tuesday, LGBT qi A with Miss Wynn today in D 2 11,

verse the creative writing poetry club with

Miss Carlyle in the library. Sat prep with Mr Chamberlain in

his classroom in D 207 AA su with Miss Lehman

in D 309. Just kind of making up room numbers. I think I remember right K pop Mr Liman.

I'm not even gonna pretend to remember that room.

You know where it is in the A building

and miniatures with Mr Adams today up in his classroom.

There's a Minecraft scholarship. If you love the game,

you can make money doing it.

Uh go to the written announcement for,

Tomorrow, it's gonna be a very special video announcement.

I'm gonna be off air and instead what we're gonna do is

show a series of campaign videos for those running for homecoming,

if you are interested

and produced the video, send it to me tonight so I can queue it up and show it tomorrow.

So you're definitely gonna want to tune in for that.

That is a full um, announcement,

period of student produced homecoming videos

running for homecoming and election.

You want to take part and also you're gonna want to wear purple because

purple day tomorrow

and then, um, it's a minimum day too. Wow. Ok. So remember that

we don't start at, um, 7 30 with a period and then take a break.

Instead, everybody starts on the minimum day.

If you, if you have an A period starts at 7 55 everybody else starts at 8 40.

Here's what I can tell you. School gets out at 1 54 tomorrow. I know I got that right.

That's gonna do it for us today.
