  1. Hi, I'm Hannah Jordan.
  2. I worked together on this project.
  3. During our research of the site, we found the Glinda
  4. was a community full of history.
  5. This site used to house what we think was a
  6. very large part of that history, which would be the
  7. mill assets.
  8. We wanted to treat the site with care, making sure
  9. to cater to most everyone.
  10. This includes the community surrounding conservation organizations as well as
  11. the once of the owner.
  12. To achieve these goals, we've created the concept of live,
  13. grow, learn.
  14. We feel that these three things encapsulate most of the
  15. needs in the area.
  16. The live region is meant to cater to the outside
  17. visitors as well as the surrounding community.
  18. The programming within this section will is meant to align
  19. with the values of certain organizations, such a Spartanburg Area
  20. Conservancy and partners for active living, and that the land
  21. is preserved and outdoor activities promoted for the grow area.
  22. The space highlights of existing land and will play please
  23. the preservation organizations nearby.
  24. It will also open up new opportunities for the new
  25. canoers. Now, for resource is inconsistent.
  26. Use of the land is important to offer another meaning
  27. interests to keep space organic and to be studied.
  28. The learning area of the site is meant to help
  29. encourage awareness of what used to be on the side.
  30. The mill was a very important part of the family's
  31. history. As we've mentioned, we wanted it to be well
  32. commemorated. I would also like to partner with the other
  33. the owners of the Neuron Buildings House, making it into
  34. a museum.
  35. This will allow people to learn about the mills history
  36. and, um, or interactive way.
